So, next trip in August, we are for sure eating at Blue Bayou for the first time. What do you guys order there? What's good? We will go for dinner. Tell me your favorite menu items!

OMG It is officially decided. 90ish days til we go back to Disneyland! I found out I can get Hojo for 85 a night through a discount program my employer offers, when it is listed as 160 a night. We are booking next week and will buy our tickets closer to when we go. Can't WAIT to take my kids again, we went for three days last time but it was over spring break and there is still a TON we   More...
Traditionally we go during that time in August and it's not bad at all. Have fun! - PrincessDuckie  710.7 #212 12:50PM
Good to know. I am hoping it is tuned down quite a bit compared to Spring Break crowds. We are also doing 4 days this time rather than three, so hopefully that helps. My 3 year old still keeps telling me all the time about how we didn't get to go on Wheel of Death hahaha! - ccfam8785  215.5 #1635 12:53PM
I hope you have a magical trip!! That week shouldn't be toooo bad but I know it's going to be busy until September most likely because of carsland and all the new things coming to the resort. - JenInWonderland  1025.6 #137 12:44PM
Well, hopefully it's a tad better than last time (April 2nd-4th)...it was bad lol. We had a blast regardless, but it took longer to get from place to place with the two toddlers in tow, than it did to wait in lines. :D - ccfam8785  215.5 #1635 12:46PM

Had my first Mint Julep today. I see what people are saying about the whole tasting like listerine thing but it was hot and I liked it. Just like a mojito without the alcohol. :-)

Searched and did not find a post about the ECV rentals. I have a hernia that needs surgery. This came up all of a sudden and I will probably not be able to get the surgery before we are in DL April 2nd. I'm a little bit concerned I will have trouble with walking all day long for 3 days. I see that you can rent an ECV for $50 but that is only for one day right? Like you can't keep it for the  More...
We just rented one for 3 days from Mobility Source. It was $100 total and even though they are based in san diego, they delivered it to our hotel even before we checked in, and then picked it up after we left. It was awesome! In really good condition, kept a full charge even after a full day at the park, and very maneuverable. I highly recommend them! - jmgphx  323.1 #675 9:04AM
There is a place that rents them right next to the Ramada Maingate. Don't know the name or cost. Good luck! - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz  1021.8 #140 7:19AM
BTW, the Ramada is literally walki g distance, right across the street from the parks. - MomWithAJuiceBoxBuzz  1021.8 #140 7:20AM

One trip in December we rent a ECV for my mom from Disney for 1 day, it ran out of energy, CM called and they brought another to us at Nemo. We talked to another lady in a scooter who was at Disney for 5 days and she rented from a medical company which brought it to the hotel and will pick it up the day they leaving town. She was very happy with this option because you can take it off Disney property, ride to and from park. Her daily expense was less than a day rental at Disneyland. This option would have worked better for my mom cause hotel walk was tiring. If we go again I will probably research Anaheim medical equipment. - MaheaLuvsDisney  243.5 #1283 8:56AM

Hey, I tried to post this a while back and it wouldn't work so if you've seen a similar post from me a few times I apologize. I am new to MW, and SOOO excited to be taking our first family vacation to disneyland in a few weeks. We will be in the parks April 2nd-4th. My hubby and I have been several times as we are both from California, but we live far away now and have never taken our children.  More...
Have a great time! Definately bring snacks for the kiddos and your own drinks. Take a break during the day. The kids will appreciate some downtime and so will you! - DisneyVacationLover  343.0 #592 2:19PM
Just be sure to take your time and take advantage of the rider swap/fast passes if you or your husband want to ride on the more adult sized rides. 3pm is about "melt down" time for youngins..be sure to give them their naps if they are used to taking them and allow the kids to choose what they want to do..dont plan too much and overwhelm them..that is not a fun thing to do. Since your children are small maybe try to go to Peter Pan and Dumbo first since those always seem to be super long lines and Autopia was my nephews favorite ride. Just a few tips ..hope this helps!Β  - yellowtonka  241.4 #1309 2:33PM
If you get the kids any kind of toy/balloon/hat/etc. in the park and it breaks... They will replace it for you for free! - SassyKittyMeow  370.1 #520 3:38PM
Very exciting!! I know how your feeling . I too grew up going to DL. But my sons have only been one time. We are planning their second trip for beginning of Auguest. 5 days in both parks. Their teenagers now so I can't really advise on your trip with your little ones . Just wantted to share in your excitement . Post when you have time at the park. ✨and welcome to MW! - My_HappyPlace  65.6 #3885 4:24PM
