#RAK. So, as much as I love teaching, I was ready for a change. To celebrate my new job as an instructional coach, I am RAKing off this JOX pin. Must have 25 points and be DM enabled. May add for others. RAK ends Sunday at 8pm. Good luck!
Trying to plan for our trip in October and I need some advice. We are bringing my mother in law, who hasn't been in 35 years. She is extremely hard of hearing, and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help her so she can hear during shows, etc. she doesn't need an ASL interpreter or anything, but she tends to only get about 1/2 of any conversation, movie, etc. Also, she has bad kne More...
@hippoluver, thank you so much for my RAK! My grandma passed away yesterday and getting this in the mail yesterday afternoon made me smile for the first time all day! Thank you so much for your generosity.
I'm trying to plan for our trip in October. We are taking my parents and my mother-in-law, and none of them have seen WoC. I was thinking of eating at Carthay so we could get the passes, or doing Wine Country Trattoria's WoC package. How child friendly is Carthay? They will be 4 and 1 at the time of our trip, and I don't want to interrupt anyone's nice dinner or lunch by bringing them if they' More...
LilPrincess and I have been watching and rewatching The Gummi Bears DVDs lately and it got me thinking of all the other Disney shows I used to watch after school. Did any of you have a favorite Disney TV show, and if so, what was it?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
