Okay, so this might come off as very silly, but what do people do with their stuff when getting on rides? I want to take a backpack for carrying anything we might buy and holding my DSLR camera. Are there places to hold bags on say... The Mickey coaster at DCA or splash mountain? Any other tips on how to enjoy the park? It will be just my daughter and I. Thanks!

I carry a mini backpack and keep my phone in a heavy duty camp style zip bag. Put my backpack at my feet and stick my foot through one of the straps...which is mostly so I won't forget it lol.  - montanapixies  44.6 #4668 9:19PM
Yep, feet through a strap, that's what I do! - ThinkTink23  27.8 #5685 10:58PM
I do the same thing too.  - DarthTinkerbell  356.0 #599 11:41PM
Same here. Hubby has a mobility scooter with a basket on it. We don't leave anything with it that can't be locked.  - Sugarbuzz  191.5 #2004 7:20AM
I put my feet thru the straps of the backpack. Never lost anything.  - sewedna  417.4 #483 9:19PM

So I just got off the phone with the Howard Johnson hotel and the gentleman I spoke too could not find any Mousewait discount. Is it only for certain times and dates? I asked him to check twice and he still came up with nothing. Maybe I'm not asking right?? Lol

You do need to make sure you're speaking with in house reservations, I spoke with Heather a couple weeks ago. That being said, my email confirmation states micechat not mousewait! But I've successfully used the mousewait discount before. Our room we have booked is a deluxe two queens with garden/pool view for 169/night. - MJmouse  274.5 #1030 7:04PM

For bookings, please call our hotel at 714-776-6120 and make sure to ask for In House Reservations. They are available from Monday Through Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Also check out our website for more info. - MJmouse  274.5 #1030 7:25AM

I found the dates for Grad Nights. Looks like we will be there during 2 of those dates at the end of May. Are they as bad as I've been reading online? Now I'm a little nervous but still going on our trip.

We went 2 years ago during a grad night and I didn't really notice a difference. We did ca adventure in the morning and ended the night in disneyland since grad night is in ca adv.  - Mariela_ela_ela  134.4 #2864 10:18PM
Oh it's in California Adventure? Good to know. So it doesn't affect Disneyland hours?  - MariaR  172.4 #2276 10:32PM
No, there are rules for grad night. Students can't attend the parks until after 3 because they have to attend class that day. Then they have to be in ca adv by a certain time or they can't enter, i believe it was by 7 or 8 when I went. Disneyland stays open like normal.  - Mariela_ela_ela  134.4 #2864 10:35PM
They are able to park hop but have to be in DCA by a certain time. - luxkitty  2450.1 #47 10:37PM
They have to be in DCA by 10 or 11 and it closes for them at 2 - TinkerSchelle  1454.4 #100 12:59AM
they aren't that bad, but I try to avoid them. More teenagers being teenagers. Have a great trip!  - JenGwen323  1532.8 #94 11:12AM
Omg I remember my grad night! 😳 we left at 7pm Thursday went back to school at 7a.m Friday it was closed to everyone except for the schools that were there but that was a few years back could've changed by now  - mandas1989  94.9 #3529 11:44AM

Hi!!! I'm taking my daughter Disneyland in May to celebrate her birthday. Any suggestions on a fun place to eat for a 7year old. I'd especially love a place that would sing happy birthday and offers yummy desserts. Thanks!

Goofy's Kitchen in DL hotel. If you are there at Plaza Inn at the right time and Moses is there he makes it extra special. He often will bring out a dinner roll with a birthday candle in it and get the restaurant to sing happy birthday while he plays the harmonica. - DLKenCA  2091.0 #62 1:13PM
I vote Ariel's Grotto if it's open. Super special and the little dessert platter is totes adorbs. My 5 year old niece still talks about it. 😃 - Darlingwendi  1182.2 #131 1:22PM
I would say goofus kitchen as well or even storytellers imo has Ana amazing breakfast buffet! Hope you find something fun for her. 😊 - CourtyAstroBlisters  702.1 #240 4:37PM

I've heard you can buy discounted tickets if you go after a certain time? For example, if I wanted to go that day but its already after 5pm... Is this true??

Sometimes they have twilight tickets, but they are in conjunction with an event. Dapper Day offered them and I believe i read that the MW reunion will too. - JenGwen323  1532.8 #94 1:41PM
👆 This. Also, it doesn't have to be the exact day of the event, there is a certain time frame in which to use them. - bluefairy  643.3 #278 4:38PM

Hi MWers. What is the number I call to get things they sell in the park? My little one tried spinning our Alice in Wonderland snow globe we got at the park in April. I'm not sure how she did it, but it ended up falling off the table and it broke. :( I can't find it on the Disney store website. And I really really hope it's still at the parks. This was my 1st trip back after 10 years (her 1st) and  More...

Disney DelivEars, 1-877-560-6477 is their new number. Hope you can get a replacement! - JustCantWait  1120.9 #140 3:02AM

My mom found this ticket when we were moving n cleaning out drawers. Do you think it's still valid??

those are actually still valid...Back in the days they did not have experation dates on tickts, the commertive tickets and the tickets that they use to give CMs for Christmas and Summer..My dad has actually given us tickets like this in the past for friends and they have worked. it takes a Supervisor and so forth out but they do work - Dave  12509.6 #2 10:05PM
Yes so true my step mom used a very very old ticket and yep out came a supervisor who gave her an updated ticket... 😊 It was still neat to see & be able to use old tickets. - Singh2011  183.3 #2117 10:10PM
That'd be cool if someone had stocked up on a hundred of these old Disneyland tickets. They could go once every year and not have to worry about price increases LOL - rbeezy  703.0 #239 10:30PM

My little princess after her visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. There is still glitter in her hair a week later.

I love it! She looks gorgeous! I especially love the absence of the tacky mismatched fake hair they always seem to give girls. - cynDOLEwhip  1175.5 #133 2:20PM
I agree about the fake hair. I took my daughter and they kept asking her what colors she wanted for everything. I know the makeover is for her, but little girls rarely choose an overalllook that works. This little girl looks fantastic. - VanDisney  342.3 #638 3:15PM
