It came to a sudden but smooth stop, like a car that has anti-locking brakes that were pushed suddenly as hard as they could .  Other cars stopped with what seemed a regular distance between cars.

Not true. First, it is poorly written. Second, Bugs land us pretty small so Toy Story Land would not really work there. Third, it would be out of character and in poor taste for Disney to put replica if the Twin Towers in any of it's parks.
What ridiculous claim is this?! Going to debunk this right now. Nothing has been announced for bugsland or hollywood studios. Nothing to see here. - BCC  4777.5 #16 9:09PM
I'm goin with this guy. πŸ‘† Can't get more official then this. - Waites4DodgerEars  967.9 #154 9:14PM
Disney would not post updates via Instagram. They just finished Cars Land and Buena Vista Street and are busily redoing Fantasyland at WDW and putting Shanghai DL together. I doubt DCA will get any more changes for awhile. - Experiment818  1601.2 #79 8:22PM
This isn't probably not gonna happen for a while. I bet it will happen! Bugs Land is the oldest thing at DCA I bet they will change it! - JollyHolidayMary  13.1 #7785 8:25PM

I spent 18 months in a wheel chair after three reconstructive surgeries. We would go to Disneyland Resorts and a few times they would be out of the electric scooters as early as noon and we would have to go with a wheel chair instead which was more difficult in a crowded area. You should make sure you get a Guest Assistance Pass at City Hall. When I couldn't go on rides I would bring a book, hun  More...
They don't usually run out of ecv's early, later in the day yes they have run out. You don't need a special paper since CM's can see you need special boarding assistance. Be prepared to bring your patience, people will jump in front of your chair like you aren't even there. Every attraction at DCA is accessible meaning you wait in line sitting in your chair. Bring your crutches with you. *my husband had torn Achilles and we survived a week at the parks, take your time and enjoy!! Oh and ignore the looks you might get when getting on some rides, what those people don't understand is sometimes you will wait even longer then them because only a certain number of special assistance riders are allowed on at a time. - Linzee  868.7 #173 9:56AM
Ok. Thank you. Ive been reading on a few other posts, that I'm supposed to go through FP line on RSR. But honestly I don't even know if I'm going to be able to ride this at all. Is it jerky? I know SM - theKASIENTE  8.0 #10538 10:11AM
Hi...I forgot to add always ask a CM if you have any boarding questions or concerns, they are *amazing* and deal with special circumstance people daily. Enjoy your trip!! - Linzee  868.7 #173 10:59AM
Even though all attractions in DCA are wheelchair accessible if you are not comfortable doing that you can get a return pass based on the current wait time to get in the FP line later. - Coaster  14342.5 #1 12:08PM
@coaster a return pass? Hm and I just ask a CM at the ride for that? I'm so nervous to see how my knee can handle it. :-/ - theKASIENTE  8.0 #10538 12:54PM
Yes. TSMM does this as well. Just ask a CM at the front entrance and the'll tell you where to go back in line and what time. - FantasmicFan82  188.3 #2009 2:16PM
Screamin too. They just take the current time add the standby for your return time. - Coaster  14342.5 #1 2:31PM
If for some reason they do run out of chairs there are a few rental  places in the area.  - LovePiglet76  39.2 #4711 10:00AM

There is at least one hotel across from Disneyland (On Harbor) that rents electric vehicle carts. Here is my tip. I put the important stuff in an outer pouch and I use small zip ties to lock the zipper tags together. You have to cut then to get them off which I do with a pair of fingernail clippers. Do this when I travel.

I understand that this is DL and you all think it's a safe place but as a CM who has had to move strollers, I am always shocked at what people leave in strollers. Cameras, IPads, handbags, backpacks... Anyone can walk by and take things. Please keep your valuables with you. We can't watch everything! - SUUZinOC  1031.4 #142 7:38AM
I was wondering how it could be worth it for a thief to pay the park entry to pick backpacks, but this makes things clearer. That's crazy that people leave valuables out like that. - Westcoast  121.6 #2996 6:55PM
Several times, I've seen designer bags that I know retail for over $1,000 (much more, in a few cases) just left on a stroller. It's crazy! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  527.3 #336 9:17PM
Yeah we have had a stroller now for 3 years for Brody but the only things we have we'd left in it are water/soda and maybe a sweatshirt or sweater. We take everything else with us on the rides! Now we have a double BOB and thinking of buying a lock so no one will try to steal the stroller! Just sad we have to do that but that's just how it is nowadays - brodysmommy  335.0 #626 6:57AM
Something I did while traveling in Scotland, in the crowded cities, we put luggage locks on our backpacks. It will prevent someone from unzipping your pack from the back. Just a handy tip. - Sharkgrrl19  227.9 #1502 11:36AM

My son who is autistic uses one. On RSR you go through the fast track. On Luigis flying tires they sent us to the exit and we were told he would have to wait 120 minutes. We left as he can't wait that long. Didn't even try Mater's Jamborie. Also, I was quite annoyed by the many who scam for a GAP.
I'm sure they will as they are to help people with disabilities be able to enjoy the park. This means they should only be used if there is a reason to help the individual, a GAC is not a fastpass - Pixarprincess  539.3 #319 10:16PM
I know you can't tell from the outside, but today we were behind two different groups who were boasting about how they made up some medical problem to get a GAP. One asked how did you get yours and the person replied, "I pretend I have a seizure disorder and they always believe me" then they all laughed. - butternard  27.7 #5401 11:57PM

And all the bathrooms are a 15 minute wait. No fastpass line for that! - Nyghtngale  558.0 #304 12:04AM
Ugh. Add fakey wheelchair rental people to this. - susieQzee  546.5 #312 12:05AM

Question! My bf has PTSD and he starts to get very anxious and very ancy in line n large crowds (tht is y we go during the week) is it possible for him to get a GAC for his condition? We never tried cuz we didn't think he qualified for it but now I'm wondering... - Penguinn_CM  188.2 #2010 12:34AM
GAC works on RSR but be aware of there is a hour long fast pass line they still make you wait in it. Lady right in front of me today was waiting with her son who had autisim. - Sam241  475.6 #382 12:40AM
