I currently live in west jordan utah, and I have been going to disneyland twice a year for the past several years. This year I bought a year pass so I've been going more. It's such a fun place to be!

I agree. Not going may alienate her from the team, and she wouldn't want that. If she is going to go though then she needs to commit to allowing herself to have the best time possible and not letting the company she is with get in the way of that. Just imagine yourself walking around with a huge pink meat leg, that reeks of bad smoked ham (yet its called turkey), gnawing and slobbering over a Flinstones style piece of meat till your teeth hit bone and cartilage....just imagine how long your hands and breath would smell for, not mention how bloated you'd feel after so wear something loose and carry Pepto or something for after ...if that's the kind of thing you're into, more power to you! See, my grossest experience actually happened at Plaza Inn, lol--two huge women sat down at the table next to us and devoured two plates of chicken. They were literally sucking and slurping the bones at the end, lol. I love it! I'm disappointed when I can't go. I haven't tried everything on the menu, and I'm not a big sea food fan, but this place is definitely worth it.
I have loved it since I was a child ( hence my MW name) I have Never been disappointed! Not once. I love the surf-n-turf!! The gumbo is fantastic. I had the bayou crab stuffed shrimp at 2am on leap day and it was Perfect!!! Seats by the water are a must. Worth the wait, trust me! - SueBayou

I've been going since I was little (I'm in my thirties now) and the food is always delicious. It is more affordable at lunch if price is an issue. I also suggest ordering what sounds good to you, not what everyone says is good. The few times people have gone with me and weren't happy it was because they had ordered something they didn't typically like anyways (like a monte cristo if you don't like fried food, or crab cakes if you aren't a seafood lover). It depends on the day & how busy the park is but is a good idea to book it as soon as you decide. Have fun!! - supertracy

Love that game! The guy at the electronics section said it was "really difficult to play" and "not worth the money" but I'm so glad I didn't listen to him and got it anyways. It's a blast. - PiecesOf8

I'm so glad we aren't the only ones! Difficult to play? Bah. We finished one game and started a new one last night. (It took us three months to finish all the quests etc, but if it had gone faster, I would have felt ripped off.)
I'm not sure why people aren't buying Kinects vs. Wii. I love the freedom it gives you, plus it has some great fitness and dance programs. It's another one of those "bonding purchases" to share with my 16 year old. :) - PeachKay
