I must always have a chimichanga when I go to the parks. They are just so delicious it makes my mouth water... I'm also quite fond with the chocolate cake that one place in Frontierland serves :)

I live in SoCal yet I don't have an annual pass unfortunately. They're too expensive and I can't afford it. Perhaps maybe next year if I save up enough money... But don't feel bad. Disneyland will always be here for you :)

Alot of people who live in southern cali an that own passes can't even go every weekend. Now if they lived in Anaheim maybe. But there are a lot that live 100+ miles away and with Cali having increased gas prices it gets harder and harder to drive there. I am lucky if I get to go once a month. And we live 99 miles away. And you have to realize that with higher gas prices and higher food prices and higher rent prices. And most people making min wage. Jus because people live here doesn't mean they get to go all the time. I know quite a few that have lived here their whole live and have never been to DL. I just think it's funny how people visiting from out of state (or anywhere else for that matter) think that because you live in SoCal you automatically live in Hollywood, and you are also right next door to Disneyland, Universal Studios, and LA. No nothing against Cali. Lived here all but 6 years of my life. It's kinda like what JR said. Just because we are in so cal does not mean we all automatically get to go to Disney or live close to Hollywood. I was just trying to show the original poster that not everyone is able to go just because they live in SoCal. It is really expensive to live here compared to other states. I'm beyond grateful to be here in SoCal! I'm 10 mins from downtown and 30 mins from Disneyland. It takes me 60 mins to get to go snowboarding and still make it to the parks in the same day. Yes, I accept. When are we going? JK. Few years ago a friend surprised my wife and I with tickets to Disneyland and a wad of cash and babysat my kids so my wife and I can spend our 10 year anniversary at DL. Of course it was real hard to accept but they wouldn't take no for an answer. It was amazing and weird and awkward and exciting, but after a many hugs and tears and thank yous we went and had a great time. I do believe it will pay off for Disney. If they can catch enough of these tickets when it's not busy, they can put them out of business before the busy season. During the crush periods, trying to enforce this would send the entry lines all the way to the center of the esplanade, and out the security checkpoints, creating chaos. During the busy season, those places make thousands EVERY DAY. Ever seen the lines at the Chevron station, Distix, or at the business park across the freeway off Anaheim Blvd? I was there last year with my mum and the park was not as crowded as the other times I would go. So I guess I could say it was just a regular crowd but some people would leave during the day to go to the ESPN centre to watch the game. It was nice in my opinion and I wasn't feeling suffocated :D
