ive never been to the parks between christmas and new years cause my pass was upgraded to premium this year. im going with my friends who are visiting from new york and illinois. i was reading the posts about the crowds and its worrying me. should i be worried about the crowds today??
Yes. Prepare yourself. It will be busy. Don't expect to do everything. Plan out your day and decide what rides are the must do for you. Crowds are always less right at opening and again just before closing. DCA is usually less crowded. Really use the FP system. Also, try to just enjoy the ambiance. Take in the parade and the other shows. That way you feel like you saw alot even if you didn't ride alot of rides. Have a wonderful day. - OutNumberedMom

Yes it will be extremely busy. Take advantage of the fastpasses and go early in the morning and ride as much you can before the crowds hit. Collect as many fasspasses as you can in the morning so you can use them at the busy times through out the day. - ManBearPig

Go early and stock up on fastpasses, then when its super busy you just walk on whiile others are waiting.. Leave to eat, goto Garden Walk to get break. you will feel refreshed and save some money. - GoofyJoe

I agree with yeti. Six flags is where you want to go for roller coasters but that's pretty much it. The atmosphere doesn't even compare to Disneyland but what other theme park does - MinnieMau5
