Time to turn off all the lights cuz its.....GHOST STORIES TIME!!! Me First..
Not exactly a haunting of the ride itself, but according to a post on a popular Disneyland inspired online message board, former Disneyland cast members claim to be privy to the story of an old man who haunts the Big Thunder Mountain Path. This path winds around the back of the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction and connects Fantasyland to Frontierland. According to the claim, there is a ghost of an old man who sits on a bench along the path. The same claim states that even Disneyland cast members choose to avoid the area at night if possible.

I'm going to be in Disneyland from Saturday o tuesday and will be taking my lone and a half year old. Do they allow small ice chest bags to carry bottles full of milk in?? I don't want to buy milk in the park, but don't wanna get all the way to the gate for them to tell me to get rid of it..
I think you'll be ok as long as the bottles aren't glass. - VillainsFan
1213.1 #67 12:55PM
You are allowed a cooler or soft side cooler that is the size of a 6 pack of soda. No glass is allowed in. As a precaution you may want to buy some bottles of soy milk and use them as the containers for your regular milk. Just explain to the checkers your little one is lactose intolerant. That might help get your cooler through if they give you a hard time. - BlueberryCrusader

 In the pond area across the walkway from BTMR exit, you can still see what remains of the Mine Train Thrpugh Nature's Wonderland. Every few seconds, "phantom fish" will jump up from the water.  This is left from when trains would pass by a scene with Audio-Animatronic bears swiping at the fish. The effect was just never removed when the ride was taken out. 
