I enjoyed watching this video.....brought back a lot of memories. I love how they showcased some more of the old dancers like Phil and Bill and they talked about Rose and Dubby who were very close family friends and part of the scene in the beginning and then into its revival in the 90s...The big problem was that these videos dont show when it was dead on most Saturday nights as the older folks have been dying off and the younger crowds stopped going. It was not until it was doomed that the crowds started comeback and that was great to see..I know when it comes back that the crowds do as well and management decides to keep it past the summer - Dave  8637.0 #2 11:06PM

I was asked to be interviewed for the documentary on the final night, but I couldn't go the day they needed me bc of work 😞 It was awesome seeing Dave's and my good friend Alex in it!!!! It was really well done and I loved seeing them talk about Rose and Dubby!!! They were the one couple you looked forward to seeing every week! Their enthusiasm was amazing!!! The one thing i loved the most about going back in the 90s was it was like having a family there every weekend. But like Dave said, in the beginning of 2000, it started to thin out and slowly the older couples passed away. It just wasn't the same. I know I stopped going for quite a while in the early 2000s. Every now and then, I would stop by to see if there was anyone I knew, but usually not. It was nice to see a new scene growing and it coming back to life in the late 2000s. I can't wait for the 15th! I'm really going to try and get back into dancing as much as I can once it returns. I miss it. I hope everyone comes out like on the closing night!! Thanks for posting this link. Swing dancing at CPG has been on my list forever. My husband and I even took dance lessons so we could go dancing but every time we went everyone was so good and knew each other we just sat and watched. We went the last 3 Saturdays and even got enough courage to dance the last night. We will definitely be there on the 15th. I didn't know they gave lessons at 6:30, we will be there for that. At Leap Day Disneyland didn't actually hit capacity till about 9:00 pm. Keep in mind that this time around both parks will remain open, even with grad nite going on there is a chance that they may not hit capacity at that same time. Just one little point of reference, with all the hoopla surrounding the opening of Carsland and BVS, (which took place on a Friday during the summer season) neither park hit capacity on opening day, and it remained that way the entire summer. So with that being said, I think there is a definite possibility that both parks may hit capacity, but it may not happen til closer to midnight when a lot of people would like to go just because they want to be there for the night. Now if they were doing this on a night when there wasn't a grad nite, I would feel pretty confident in saying that the parks probably wouldn't hit capacity, but it's hard to tell how grad nite will affect this event. - NotNKansasAnymor  174.2 #1940 1:33AM

This reminds me of the time I was a little boy growing up in Florida and I really had to go tot the bathroom walking home from a friends house after school and I could not hold it anymore so I went into a bush about 10 doors down from me at a neighbors house. I was a little freaked out and tried to find some double ply charmin in the trees but it was more like costco store brand TP and was very rough.
