Morning. My daughter loves Sofia the first so I was wondering if sofia has been seen at the parks? We will be going this weekend and my daughter would like to see her. Also do they have any of her merchandise?
Good Morning MW! I have been MIA for a while but I'm still here. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with my first son. Almost time to have him then I can get back to the parks. Just wanted to share a picture of my daughter with her princess Sofia items. At the Disney store they have this pajama and figurine playset. She is obsessed with this new princess and she loves the show. :)
My retro day pic. Me on King Arthur Carrousel. This was my second visit to dland. Also I want to share some news with you all.... I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my third child. Can't wait to get back to the parks to celebrate :)
After a long day at knotts berry farm. We stopped by downtown Disney to do some shopping. Bought a new Mickey cell phone case for my phone. We are at the grand Californian hotel lobby enjoying the warm fireplace. Heading out later to watch the fireworks :)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
