Heading for the park right now, then waiting til 10am. In the mean time, what do y'all think is better, Fantasmic or World of Color? I honestly don't know if this is a "no contest" matter, but personally, I must go with Fantasmic. The music is phenomenal. I listen to it daily.
Alright MW's! I'm sure you've all seen hundreds of posts like this tonight but... heading to disneyland in an hour! Staying til 6am! Party til the break of dawn at the greatest place on earth! Anyone else staying all night???
Hey everyone, this is my first time creating a thread! Anyway, I was curious if any of you have ever heard of becoming a Splashtronaut! I had read about it a long time ago on some random site and I really liked the idea of it. No idea how popular it is, but to become a splashtronaut, you must ride splash mountain 20 times in a row! Anyone up for the challenge?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
