The purpose of the new system is not to stop abusers of the GAC system. Any new system should and will make it harder for the system to be abused. They old system did not take into account several things that needed to be tweaked and improved. A lot if study, coordination and consultation with many different organizations went into designing the new system and I am sure it may need some adjustments. That is why it is considered a temp. I know this isn't the place to complain but I did not have the best experience with the new DAS system when going with my daughter on Friday, she actually left in tears.  Can someone please DM me so I can ask specific questions in regards to our experience? - sstarlight  324.7 #690 12:09PM
I'm sorry that happened. I would suggest directing your questions to City Hall or Chamber if Commerce since they have the most up to date info and appreciate feedback as to what did not work. So sorry. - MrsSchnooks  2833.0 #37 2:00PM
Thanks. I've talked to them already but was hoping to talk to others to see how their experiences went.  I just want to make sure I have a full understanding of the new process from people who are using it.  We talked to CMs in DCA and DL and were told the same thing which is fine (I know they are doing their job and this is difficult for them too).  What I originally read about the new process and what we were told was different.  It was a busy day so I'm not sure if that was an issue as well.  - sstarlight  324.7 #690 3:39PM
We went the 13th and 14th we went to get the picture done and the line was 2 hours long we went to eat and tried to wait in line 40 min for grizzly rapids only my youngest son and I stuck it out my older son shut down and was so overwhelmed that we ended up pushing him around in the stroller the rest of the day.  So I waited first thing the next morning and he hadhis picture done etc but I was in tears he was in tears because he didn't understand why they wanted a picture this time and when we finally got the hang of the system it was about to close and he missed his favorite ride and as so sad. Then I told him we have to do that every two weeks he said he didn't really want to go back again to dl. I was sad I'm hoping that this next time we can have fun again. They should have some sort of season pass holder special like have it printed on our passes or make the cards good for 6months. Like they did before.  - Dominguez5  0.0 #131225 6:07AM
Email Disneyland customer relations and explain your situation. Don't expect them to respond with anything directly but they need to know when the system fails so they can make changes. From the CMs I've talked to they know they renewal process and picture retakes are a pain but that's all they can do right now. I never thought to think about how the process affects people who have serious issues with their photo being taken, the process of such can be damaging I've known others who would completely crumble because of it, it seems so simple to some but it's a very real issue. So please call them or email them. Disney needs to know, they can't make this new system a success without our input. alright guys I need some pixie dust from everyone! We are supposed to be in the parks this weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but my sugars have been off the charts lately (I am a type two diabetic) dropping to dangerously low levels and no matter what i do i can't keep it under control. Just your thoughts would be perfect guys!! Thanks in advance!!!

Medication is typically the factor.  Glad you got checked and hopefully they adjusted correctly.  You are your own best advocate.  If you don't feel right, always get checked....Hope you are feeling better!! - DisneyDavidEMT  1607.9 #83 9:02AM
