Hello all. I am in need of some advice. My son is finally tall enough to go on RSR!!!! Here's the problem. He is very hyperactive and he really can't wait more than 20-30 minutes in line. I can get to the park a little before 8:00 am. Is it better to just make a break for the line or get a fast pass? Is it better to go when Ca has magic morning hours- can you get in the fast pass line before 8  More...

If you can get in for magic morning I would definitely suggest that. I did that a few months ago and walked right on RSR. If you get in line for fastpasses and aren't one of the first in lind you may be waiting for that alone for a good 15-20 minutes. Good luck! - LBChica  2025.7 #60 11:59AM
You should really try to get there early and get a fast pass but the fast pass line can get very long - Cinderellaaa  164.9 #2364 12:05PM
Just what others suggested here, get fast passes early. My son also reached the RSR height and worked out well so far. Good luck and have fun! - antetr95  1703.7 #78 12:21PM
Thanks. I will try to get there early!!! - CaTeacher  277.5 #969 2:50PM

Question: Does anyone know what time the Oz hot air balloon will be landing at Disneyland tomorrow? Also, how long will it be there? Thanks in advance. I really want to take my son to see it.

It technically won't be landing at the park. The event takes place in the esplanade (area between the parks). Starts at 7:00am and goes to about 10:00am. - BaseballMickey_CM  6371.4 #12 9:53PM
I didn't know they where doing that! How cool? - PrincessDaisy  307.5 #779 9:45PM

I have a quick question, I know they have snow after the fireworks, but do they have snow any other time. I'm taking my 3 year old tonight and I don't think he'll make it until 9:30. Thanks for all you help, and sorry if this is a silly questions

I remember last year they did it after the "lighting" of the castle - GoofyMom77  639.5 #265 9:44AM
Same this year, or it was earlier this week :) - Lola027  450.3 #425 11:16AM

Wow I should really spell check. Question, not questions. I also forgot a question mark. That's what I get for trying to type with my son climbing on me. Sorry - CaTeacher  277.5 #969 9:45AM
We have lots of snow at our place in Canada! - wannagoDL  22.3 #6139 11:06AM

I have a question for all of you wonderful mouse waiters. I am trying to stay at a Disneyland resort hotel for my son's 3rd birthday, unfortunately even with my passport discount, they are still too expensive. Has anyone been able to find them cheaper at a different website other than Disney or I know you guys have recommended other hotels, do they have Disney type services like birthday surpris  More...

Yes - I would check. Out AAA as well. If you are a member you could get 10-15% off depending on when you go. If you book through Disney you can also tell the rep you are a AAA member and they should apply a discount to your room. My wife and I are going in December and we saved about $300 off our room booking through AAA. - campy  44.2 #4598 9:43PM
Thanks. I do have AAA! - CaTeacher  277.5 #969 9:48PM
try HoJo..they are our official MW hotel. I am bet they could help arrange something special for him. Are you taking home to a character meal? Great way to get fun shots :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  4478.1 #20 9:41PM
I'll call them as we'll! Thanks for the suggestion. We are definitely doing a character breakfast! I can't wait! - CaTeacher  277.5 #969 9:50PM
Check out the Anaheim Fairfield Inn they have themed rooms you can stay in, your 3 year old may love that! - DisneyDreamer18  180.6 #2127 9:53PM

I was just wondering if anyone knows how many tickets they sell to the Halloween party before it sells out. I'm going Friday and just trying to figure out how crowded lines will be. Thanks for the help.

Good question - PrincessDuckie  737.1 #218 9:50PM
They won't release numbers due to security reasons - BaseballMickey_CM  6371.4 #12 9:52PM
Ah, makes sense. Wait. But itsnt it known how many people make full capacity? - PrincessDuckie  737.1 #218 9:54PM
This event, when at full capacity, is not the same full capacity as a normal day - BaseballMickey_CM  6371.4 #12 10:01PM
