My dad always made us sit through great moments with Mr. Lincoln before we could go on any rides. It built up the suspense! My dad passed in 93 and when I take visitors I make them do it too. My dad also had a special sweater he would wear only to Disneyland :)

For us, it's fun to change it up and do whatever we we feel like when we first arrive. When we leave though on the very last night of our trip we always hit POTC very last and then we stop at coke corner on the way out and get a diet coke with vanilla and a Mickey pretzel. We sit up by jolly holiday and watch everybody as they leave. We talk about how much fun we had, our favorite memories, and we start planning our next trip out! Then we always take a dramatic, pouty bottom lip, "but I don't wanna go!" picture with the castle in the background. Take one last deep breath in and then leave without looking back or we wound never leave! Hahaha. - evilqueensmistress

Ah she is so beautiful. I will keep jasmine and your family in my prayers. My sister has been having chemo for 18 mo for aggressive lung cancer :(. Our whole family is going to the Mickey Halloween party on Friday with her. She is trying to stay string to go. Take care.

I just remembered about this event last night and I checked my email and I did get picked but I have an appt at the dmv hope I can make it by 1:00 and get a few. I just started pin trading in June. Personally I look at it from a child's point of view and I think it's amazing. It's very smart how they make it seem like you're going underwater, It's very colorful and there's a little scary part to it but it's not too bad. So maybe to us it might seem a little meh but just think to a kid it's seeing one of their favorite characters come to life, and they get to be apart of it. 😊 - AshleyLynn22

I completely agree. These are attractions for mostly children and those who wish the still were. The attractions are a short glimpse of the movie, to have all aspects including the happy climatic ending would mean an attraction that take 30 minutes. Simply skip those or accept the magic. No offences but Knott's is down the street and Magic Mountain and Universal are down the freeway.
