Hi guys we have planned our trip to DL for Feb 12th-Feb 17th, but I just found out I'm pregnant with baby #3. I'm not exactly sure how far along I am. Could be anywhere from 4-12 weeks but I'm thinking about 7 or 8. Anyone else gone to DL while pregnant? Any advice besides the obvious avoiding the big rides? Also, do you think its still worth spending the money on the trip? Thanks in advance.
Congratulations!  A lot of women go to Disneyland while they're pregnant; some up until the week they're due.  Just enjoy things you normally wouldn't.  People watch while the others are going on the big rides.  Enjoy a Dole whip.  Go watch Billy Hill and the HIllbillies. Ride the Columbia.  Most of all, have fun! - IDVandalSkipperCM  1298.9 #63 11:25PM
Some of my favorite times in the park have been without rides. I looked through all of the shops and watched all of the shows. Amazing how long it takes just to "try" and get in every detail. I still have yet to get on the ship! Pregnant women need their exercise anyway ;) - tenilleg  201.2 #1618 11:34PM
I was at DL at 20 weeks and 37 weeks. If this is your first pregnancy and not sure what to expect then I suggest sitting and resting every 2 hours and keep hydrated so you don't get edema. Don't forget to eat too. Small protein snacks every 3-4 hours to keep your energy level up. And ask your midwife or OB for their advice too. Have fun! I love telling Rose that she went to DL twice before she was even born! AND congratulations!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘ - bugsmom1208  211.1 #1474 12:13AM

Hey, we are going to Disneyland again in Feb. We have never worried about our stroller being stolen before, but saw someone's post a little while ago about it so we started thinking about it. We were thinking about buying a stroller lock to lock around one wheel so the cms could still move it but no one would want to bother taking it. How many of you have done this? What do you think? I know it do  More...
I suppose it can happen, but it's really not that common of an occurance.  Best tip I've seen, take a diaper and poor root beer, coke or some dark colored liquid in it.  Place the diaper in a see thru bag and tie it to the stroller.  No one will touch it. - MyPark  944.4 #91 12:18PM
Oh and just so you're aware, sometimes the CM's will move your stroller if they need to get it out of the way for some reason. They are pretty good at keeping it close to the nearest attraction. Just be aware it can happen. - MyPark  944.4 #91 12:24PM
As long as you don't lock it to DL property I think you should be okay. Just don't leave anything valuable in it. How about adding a property of blank family with some iron on sheets or letters?? - UncoolBunny  70.9 #3399 12:14PM
The iron-ons are a pretty good idea. Not only does it personalize your stroller but the people planning on stealing it wouldn't want it if someone's name is on it. - rbeezy  655.5 #160 12:19PM
My son's old stroller had orange iron-on letters that read Property of SeΓ±or PoopsALot - UncoolBunny  70.9 #3399 12:34PM
Lol that's special!! πŸ˜‚ - rbeezy  655.5 #160 12:36PM
Yes, just to repeat - do not lock your stuff to DLR property.  Saw CMs have to get bolt cutters to remove some strollers parked inappropriately before a parade.  It was a pain for all involved.  Strollers not where folks left them, CMs who had to bust a move to get it done before the parade, etc.  I totally LOVE the idea of the "messy diaper" left in the stroller. *LOL* - ThatKimberly  335.2 #452 1:11PM
We have a bike lock and always lock it to something grounded. - pinaycharms  16.0 #5532 1:12PM

Hi there everyone. This is my first post here, but I have had the app for a few days and I love it :) We are getting ready to buy our AP next month and we're thinking about taking a trip the week of Feb 13th. I was just wondering if you guys think the park would be busy on Valentine's Day? We are trying to plan our trips for the least busy times since we have 2 little kids and are pretty free to c  More...
That's my birthday week. It'll be super busy because everyone will flock there to watch the parade in my honor. There are some shows dedicated to me. Also they fix up some of the attractions in honor of my birthday.  - Starr  549.9 #202 10:38PM

Oooh! I wanna see the Starr segment that they're adding to WoC! - dlmickeymouseCM  2350.4 #28 12:24AM
Its actually for my birthday that they clear out Disneyland that week and its always walk on. - maxinerenton  415.1 #311 12:24AM
I don't have money Maxine...so I get the attention. You have money and get emptiness - Starr  549.9 #202 12:28AM
Or is it I got the money to pay for the park to be empty you need the money so you have people pay. - maxinerenton  415.1 #311 7:24AM

Thanks again. I think we are gonna stick with the week of the 13th. There are AP blackout dates that Monday and Friday of the week of the 20th so we would only be able to go 3 days :( plus I looked at the school calender here in northern California and the kids have the whole week off due to furlough days so other schools might be out too. It will still be fun to be there on Valentine's even with the two little ones in the way...lol jk. - doxiegirl85  3.3 #20021 8:09AM
