Question about the Halloween Party: It says costumes may have a mask, but that the eyes must be visible. My son is going as Spider-man, so the mask goes over his entire head. Will he not be able to wear it, or is this mainly the rule for adults? Thanks

I could be off base (probably not) but the mask provision is directed at the over age participants who do not understand that 1) it's a disney park so dressing to scare is not ok and 2) that they are full grow adults and not children. - georgieporgie  183.9 #2176 12:54PM
That's kinda what I was thinking that it was meant for the adults, but just wanted to make sure :) - doxiegirl85  7.2 #13409 12:57PM
He can wear it, but make sure his eyes are visible and he can safely see through it.  - BaseballMickey_CM  7354.3 #11 12:34PM
The eyes are covered but have little holes all over the covered eye area to see through (if that makes sense lol) so I'm not sure if that's considered "visible"? - doxiegirl85  7.2 #13409 12:54PM
He should be ok. Visible meaning we can see his eyes. There's been instances where guests bring in full head pieces and cannot see - BaseballMickey_CM  7354.3 #11 1:53PM
Ok thank you! - doxiegirl85  7.2 #13409 7:09PM

Hi guys! I usually just hanging around reading posts and looking at pictures, but I'm going to do my first RAK on here! Hi all! I usually just kinda hang out reading posts, etc. I ordered these nail wraps to wear for our trip at the end of the month. I have extra, so I decided to do my first RAK on here! These are enough to do a manicure (probably better if you have small/med width nails since it is missing some of the larger sized wraps). Just comment here if you would like to be in the drawing.

Hi everyone. I know this is probably a stupid question, but are the Elsa dresses available in the park again yet? My daughter is really wanting one and I know they said May but not sure exactly when? Also, I saw a post with a reversible Anna/Elsa plush and wondering where I might be able to find one here? thank you.

Both would be available in Fantasyland. But just to inform you that the Elsa dresses sell out in a matter of an hour or so. If you really want one, you'll have to be in the park at the right time  - BaseballMickey_CM  7354.3 #11 1:52PM
Try early in the morning when you are in Disneyland. I got one at 9 am. - minniemonika  185.1 #0 3:37PM

Hi, we are planning a trip in January, but just trying to decide when is best to go. We were thinking Jan 5-10, but wondering if anyone knows what it would be like while they are taking down Christmas decor? Does it happen at night and wouldnt be an issue? We are planning on staying at the Grand Californian for the first time and don't want the trip to be disrupted by them taking everything down..  More...

Christmas season ends Jan 6 and they start taking it down then. There are many elves that do that so I don't foresee any issues what so ever. It would be nice to see it the last few days and definitely less crowded. - Cinderella_Schnooks  3259.6 #40 7:47PM
Schools are still on Christmas break that week so anticipate bigger crowds.  Certain things might be closed like HM, IASW, to remove Christmas decor.  If you like small crowds and can wait a couple of weeks, I highly recommend doing that. - potatohead25  646.8 #300 8:06PM
Last year IASW holiday was open until the end of January.....I don't recall when HM closed though. - Princessana08  69.8 #4102 8:15PM

Hi guys we have planned our trip to DL for Feb 12th-Feb 17th, but I just found out I'm pregnant with baby #3. I'm not exactly sure how far along I am. Could be anywhere from 4-12 weeks but I'm thinking about 7 or 8. Anyone else gone to DL while pregnant? Any advice besides the obvious avoiding the big rides? Also, do you think its still worth spending the money on the trip? Thanks in advance.

Congratulations!  A lot of women go to Disneyland while they're pregnant; some up until the week they're due.  Just enjoy things you normally wouldn't.  People watch while the others are going on the big rides.  Enjoy a Dole whip.  Go watch Billy Hill and the HIllbillies. Ride the Columbia.  Most of all, have fun!
- IDVandalSkipperCM  2413.4 #56 11:25PM
Some of my favorite times in the park have been without rides. I looked through all of the shops and watched all of the shows. Amazing how long it takes just to "try" and get in every detail. I still have yet to get on the ship! Pregnant women need their exercise anyway ;) - tenilleg  201.2 #1951 11:34PM
I was at DL at 20 weeks and 37 weeks. If this is your first pregnancy and not sure what to expect then I suggest sitting and resting every 2 hours and keep hydrated so you don't get edema. Don't forget to eat too. Small protein snacks every 3-4 hours to keep your energy level up. And ask your midwife or OB for their advice too. Have fun! I love telling Rose that she went to DL twice before she was even born! AND congratulations!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘ - bugsmom1208  221.4 #1693 12:13AM

Hey, we are going to Disneyland again in Feb. We have never worried about our stroller being stolen before, but saw someone's post a little while ago about it so we started thinking about it. We were thinking about buying a stroller lock to lock around one wheel so the cms could still move it but no one would want to bother taking it. How many of you have done this? What do you think? I know it do  More...

I suppose it can happen, but it's really not that common of an occurance.  Best tip I've seen, take a diaper and poor root beer, coke or some dark colored liquid in it.  Place the diaper in a see thru bag and tie it to the stroller.  No one will touch it.
- IMissDisney  1205.7 #143 12:18PM
Oh and just so you're aware, sometimes the CM's will move your stroller if they need to get it out of the way for some reason. They are pretty good at keeping it close to the nearest attraction. Just be aware it can happen. - IMissDisney  1205.7 #143 12:24PM
As long as you don't lock it to DL property I think you should be okay. Just don't leave anything valuable in it. How about adding a property of blank family with some iron on sheets or letters?? - UncoolBunny  71.0 #4073 12:14PM
The iron-ons are a pretty good idea. Not only does it personalize your stroller but the people planning on stealing it wouldn't want it if someone's name is on it. - rbeezy  703.0 #265 12:19PM
My son's old stroller had orange iron-on letters that read Property of SeΓ±or PoopsALot - UncoolBunny  71.0 #4073 12:34PM
Lol that's special!! πŸ˜‚ - rbeezy  703.0 #265 12:36PM
Yes, just to repeat - do not lock your stuff to DLR property.  Saw CMs have to get bolt cutters to remove some strollers parked inappropriately before a parade.  It was a pain for all involved.  Strollers not where folks left them, CMs who had to bust a move to get it done before the parade, etc.  I totally LOVE the idea of the "messy diaper" left in the stroller. *LOL* - ThatStarWarsKimberly  398.9 #547 1:11PM
We have a bike lock and always lock it to something grounded. - pinaycharms  16.0 #8024 1:12PM

Hi there everyone. This is my first post here, but I have had the app for a few days and I love it :) We are getting ready to buy our AP next month and we're thinking about taking a trip the week of Feb 13th. I was just wondering if you guys think the park would be busy on Valentine's Day? We are trying to plan our trips for the least busy times since we have 2 little kids and are pretty free to c  More...

That's my birthday week. It'll be super busy because everyone will flock there to watch the parade in my honor. There are some shows dedicated to me. Also they fix up some of the attractions in honor of my birthday.  - Starr  550.3 #359 10:38PM

Thanks again. I think we are gonna stick with the week of the 13th. There are AP blackout dates that Monday and Friday of the week of the 20th so we would only be able to go 3 days :( plus I looked at the school calender here in northern California and the kids have the whole week off due to furlough days so other schools might be out too. It will still be fun to be there on Valentine's even with the two little ones in the jk. - doxiegirl85  7.2 #13409 8:09AM
