My friend who was a snare in Soundsational just had his last performance and has been re-assigned to the Disneyland Band. Maybe they got some details mixed up in the OC Register?

Tagged in: NEWS
Also the College Marching Band  starts performing tomorrow with a performance later "on parade route" so I wonder if DL  is using this as a way to transition to the new format. I would have liked to keep the traditional format, and add in combos too but I'm sure it's also being discussed in the budget too which could affect all this.  - secretagentangel  1935.7 #75 2:57PM
I heard from one band member today who was talking to some folks. He said they were breaking it up into little combos and no more conductor. And some of the groups would be performing (dancing) more.  - secretagentangel  1935.7 #75 12:59AM

Sad to see an Original supposedly updated, I don't know of anyone who was not entertained over my 40 plus years of consecutive visits 37 with family! My girls loved to just sit and enjoy the traditional Bandstand Music? Huge Mistake because of Budget?  - pirateflip  109.6 #3345 11:56AM

I hope they can bring back Peter Pan story time in some capacity in the park. I actually hate getting rid of these somewhat "small" but overly magical experiences to accommodate the latest blockbusters or trends. That being said, I also wish they would reconsider Tron 3! Lol.

I think CircleVision was very under appreciated! It was a great place to go in Tomorrowland and watch a great little movie surrounded in a 360 degree theater. I remember you could see the movie about the US during the morning and through the mid to late afternoon when the movie would switch to a film about China... It was one of my most favorite attractions ever; when I was younger, the screens so gigantic and all encompassing. It was my first ever experience with an IMAX movie and it was also very cool in the summer when the weather could get really hot. The only drawback to me was that people had to stand - because of my inability to stand for long periods due to the nature of my disability, I was always in a stroller or wheelchair, so it was pretty easy to experience. I could even go by myself when I was a teenager so I could be dropped off to watch while everyone else stood in line and went on Space Mountain. I so wish they could bring it back! 😁 - Catski23  6.9 #0 7:48AM

Grad nite two years ago a teenager had the bright idea of jumping over my son's stroller while my son was sitting in it. Needless to say he didn't make the jump and landed on my son. That teenager did not like me so much after my conversation with him.  I can deal with the crowds and generally mouthy youngins but don't ever touch my babies! Ohhhhhh noooooo you will not like me after that. =)

First off, congratulations!! Second, there is still a LOT to see & do at Disneyland while you are pregnant. Mellow attractions such as Small World, the Grand Circle Tour Train. Talk with your Dr should you have any Qs. When you do take baby for the first time, after the Pediatrician has given the green light, be sure to visit the BabyCare spots to make life a lil easier. It sounds like you're mad at Disney because you forgot diapers and cell phone accessories. Can't you get some at the Baby care center and cell kiosk in DTD? Plenty of us had a great time. As with any trip you have to plan. Your hate of Disney is not what this app is for. - disneyland4me  247.3 #1321 5:07AM
This sounds more like a lack of planning on your part than Disney's. A,) it's a 24 hour event and you should have overpacked supplies B.) Disneyland is not responsible for your cellphone dying C,) First aid stations have extra diapers for emergencies and D.) ALWAYS have a contingency plan if you get separated from your family.  (I.e...pay phones to call a family member or friend who can relay information). I have an almost 5 year old and I would never go to the 24hr event with him...and he's potty trained. Unfortunately, just sounds like a string of bad luck which is not Disney or the CM's fault. Moral of the story is over pack and buy a couple external batteries. They are relatively inexpensive and a life saver...I need one even when I spend a normal day at Disneyland...you're talking about a full 24+ hours. I'm more of a converse fan but I have the Star Wars vans and will need the Mickey Mouse ones for sure! - luxkitty  2716.6 #42 5:36PM
I used to be, I have a lot of converse but they now hurt my feet to wear. I've recently become obsessed with the authentic low pros. They are so comfy. I need those Minnie ones. - MellieKay  193.4 #2002 5:41PM
I'm thinking about getting the high tops and having them turned into roller skates. - ThorIsMyThunderBuddy  78.2 #3839 11:25AM

Just did it Friday night and like everyone else said - it was amazing!! The ticket said to go to Harbour Galley to line up at 8:30 but we went at 8:00 and were very happy we did. Got an amazing spot right in the middle! Have fun and don't forget to grab your free seat cushion. Very very forgiving for the cobblestone!

The last seating for the 9pm show is 6:30p.  We did this on Sunday. - makeitbluesaysmerriwether  35.3 #5201 1:37PM
Perfect thank you! Our ressie is at 4:40 so all should be well.  - TheDroidYouAreLookingFor  445.3 #458 1:43PM

Enjoy!! We did it last month and sat up front against the railing in the center:). Worth every cent!! The food was great, but but ending our evening being that close to the magic was amazing!!!  - hatgal76  444.4 #459 5:37PM
Thank you! We did the old dessert package a few times and loved it. So for the same price I get a three course meal and I'm pretty stoked about that lol - TheDroidYouAreLookingFor  445.3 #458 6:17PM
