I am an elementary school teacher, mother of 2 and have a DH that is not as obsessed as I am. I live about an hour away from the parks of there is minimal traffic. My favorite movies are Nightmare B4 Christmas, UP, The Little Mermaid, and Frozen.
Sentimental Post Alert: So my friend went to the parks with her husband, daughter, and a few others this past Thursday. Her husband has ALS and will not live to see another trip. She was very nervous and assumed that her wheelchair bound husband would not be able to get on any rides. I told her about the tips I received from my fellow MWers and that the CMs are very helpful More...
#RAK It's been a crazy week and I haven't been able to get much of MW fix. So I'm fixing on giving away some stickers. You may only ask for one and you must not have it. RAK will end on Sunday, March 16.
I know kids are allowed at the Cove Bar, but I was wondering if they would make a cheese pizza for my minis? I will be going in a few weeks by myself with the minis and would really like to experience the Cove Bar.
When I first registered for MW I remember seeing MW buttons available for purchase with your MW name on it. Does anyone know if they sell those? I think it would be a great way to meet MWers because sometimes I'm not sure if they are who I think they are. If they had a MW button, it would make it a lot easier to approach them. I would love one.
My friend is taking her husband, who has ALS, to Disneyland very soon. He is in a wheelchair, but can shuffle out of the chair to another spot with her assistance. I know she can get the pass (GAC?), but is City Hall the only place to get it? Any tips or advice to make her day easier is appreciated. Ride suggestions? This will probably be his last trip, and he worked More...
#Rak 3 fast passes for Autopia. Since the ride broke down, they are good for the rest of the night if they get it going again. They are in the plants behind the defilibrator machine by the bathrooms next to Autopia. please post if you find them.
#RAK of stickers. I love stickers! I have noticed that a lot of people are either new to stickers or just haven't really had a chance to experience them. Therefore I have these to RAK. You may only ask for one. First come, first serve.
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
