My family went last year for the first time and I found a great website with weekly emails that we got great tips from. AllEars.com also make sure to download the FL Mousewait. We used it the whole trip for wait times and other great info. Have a fantastic time! It is an awesome trip!

Pack an extra suitcase for all the stuff you are going to buy. Pace yourself, consider just doing one park per day, then taking the last day to go back to your favorite, or the one you felt needed more time. It's a lot more time consuming to park-hop or go back to your room, even if you're staying on property, so plan to be there most, if not all day. You can also pack some flat rate boxes, packing tape, and prepaid labels. Stuff those boxes! If buying gifts, you can ship them directly to your friends/family. Oh! If you need something while on the trip, and have amazon prime, ship stuff to your hotel in two days for free! I needed more camera memory, had my brother order it, and picked it up when I checked in. Pack a lot of patience and lots of water. It'll be crowed and extremely hot. Buy one of those water bottle fans, they're expensive but you will love your life. Also, spend a day at Typhoon Lagoon. It's the BEST water park EVER. I could spend my whole vacation there. :) - Nyghtngale

If you get into the park when it first opens you should be able to get a fast pass. Single rider wouldn't work with the little ones. Enjoy your trip!

Not sure how the crowds are next week, but we were there the last week of Jan into Feb and we never waited in the line in the morning, after the third day we happened to be walking past the fast pass station around 10 or so and noticed there was only a 2 min wait. Our first time getting them was for 5:30-6:30pm, So the next day (Friday) my husband went around 9:30 and we got a 1:30-2:30 pass. - amyb1076

We ate at Carthay Circle yesterday for the first time. It is expensive but so good. I had the Angus Burger and Fries. The fries are fried in Duck fat. OMG!! So good and decadent! $22.00 before AP discount.

Add me please :) favorite memory in the park is when we brought our daughter for the first time she was one (she is 17 now) she was so wide eyed with wonder. She wouldn't nap but was never cranky. She would sit on my husbands shoulders and rest her head on his. This memory makes me smile. Thank You!!!

Wow! Amazing RAK! Please add me. My favorite moment in the park was when a CM blessed my daughter and her BFF, who were both celebrating their 16th birthdays, with a private Jungle Cruise. We got all the way to Trader Sam and the ride stalled. After sitting for 10 minutes listening to head hunter jokes, the CMs were instructed to return all boats to the dock in reverse so we got to do the Jungle Cruise backwards! Check weather right before you go, it can be rainy and cool or an early heatwave. Not too cold though so just a light jacket etc. for night. Fun to plan! Don't forget your bathing suits if you are staying at a hotel! - ShariRenee

The entire time. A lightweight jacket and a pair of long pants sufficed for nighttimes that were cooler. You won't need a winter

Oh my goodness!! I feel the same way. Rose it for the first time last week, almost wet my pants, screamed my head off and my poor daughter almost lost a leg to my vice grip but I survived. Swore I would never go again but caved at the last minute, dreaded every second till I sat down, gripped the side handle and the seat in front of me, put my head down and prayed for the ride to break down before it started. No such luck!! My husband and 5 year old, all smiles in the pic, u can't see my face, terrified with my head down trying to not pass out from fear....

Hi, I'm kind of new to MW. I went to caramiapoohAKAface's MouseWait meet and went on the HM not so scary last ride. Met the best people. JollyRogers, Rick, Plumiegirl and someone else (sorry had first time jitters can't remember her name.) Sometimes it's very difficult to introduce yourself to new people and hope to be accepted.
