I am a veterinary technician who gets called nurse by my doctors and clients. I love my job. I scale and polish teeth, I monitor anesthesia, I manage the x ray machine and take x rays, I can place an iv catheter and urinary catheter, I can draw blood, draw urine, and vaccinate your pet! No problem! Thank you for this RAK! @PK, I actually didn't go to school. I have a great doctor who allowed me to shadow his lead technician for a while, soon afterwards I was doing it on my own! Certification works very differently in AZ. Good luck!
