So this story is a little late but I still really wanted to share it with you all. This is Jay and he works at Carthay. Last year he created a very memorable experience for us on my birthday and we left him funny notes. A year later, Jay was still working there. We had not seen him in a year, but upon seeing our party arrive he looked to me and exclaimed, "It's Gabby, the girl who speaks with her More...
I was just wondering if anyone knows if Carthay Circle has posted their 2013 Winter menu yet? If they have posted it, is it possible that someone might be able to post it here; including the selections for the World of Color dining menu.
Just 44 more days until I make my 13th visit to Disneyland with my best friend who has only been there once!! We've been best friends for thirteen years now and this is how we chose to celebrate before heading off to college next year. :)
Hello everyone! I'm new to this and am looking forward to being part of all the fun and keeping up with all thats happening in Disneyland! I personally have 82 days until I am in the park for my 16th birthday!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
