Personal opinion why entertain other people with a purchase of the ears. When I paid for tje entrance to get entertained
They still do sell the ears in the park. I saw some on Monday, but don't remember where. Not a lot of people wear the ears or are aware of the effects. Try to stand behind other people with the ears on during the shows so you can see how they interact! Have fun! - IDVandalSkipperCM

They asked me when I applied what department I wanted to be in. I eventually had a dream of working building/designing the sets on the rides so I stayed behind the scenes in entertainment costuming. Not glamorous or anything but a foot in the door. I still would pick that vs being out in the park though...dealing with some crazy people=no thanks lol. Maybe our expectations are different but my family had a wonderful experience at Ariel's Grotto. Food was excellent and we had an awesome server. She even gave my mini extra attention because we were celebrating a birthday. We dined inside. Sorry you had a bad experience. - CamEli

Actually not really with all this economy hitting the middle class is a tragic. Although yes being close by has advantages if you have the time and money to spend. California has been created thinking that life is a fast past and everyone is being dragged into it. I just can’t wait till I move to Texas ten minutes before Louisiana and eighteen hours from WDW.
Alot of people who live in southern cali an that own passes can't even go every weekend. Now if they lived in Anaheim maybe. But there are a lot that live 100+ miles away and with Cali having increased gas prices it gets harder and harder to drive there. I am lucky if I get to go once a month. And we live 99 miles away. Also southern Cali is not all its cracked up to be. - ImAlwaysCrazy

I just think it's funny how people visiting from out of state (or anywhere else for that matter) think that because you live in SoCal you automatically live in Hollywood, and you are also right next door to Disneyland, Universal Studios, and LA. Just because we are in so cal does not mean we all automatically get to go to Disney or live close to Hollywood. I'm beyond grateful to be here in SoCal! I'm 10 mins from downtown and 30 mins from Disneyland. It takes me 60 mins to get to go snowboarding and still make it to the parks in the same day. I'm truly grateful for living here and I don't always go but I do go once a week, at minimum because traffic can be challenging but you're right I'm truly blessed to be here! - MarshaMouse

The way I was brought up with this situation and still live by the rule is, if a person invites you they better pay up. Every time I invite someone no matter where to, I pay for everything and it works like clockwork one day for you another for me. So the answer to your question is YES! Lol.

Yes, I accept. When are we going? JK. Few years ago a friend surprised my wife and I with tickets to Disneyland and a wad of cash and babysat my kids so my wife and I can spend our 10 year anniversary at DL. Of course it was real hard to accept but they wouldn't take no for an answer. It was amazing and weird and awkward and exciting, but after a many hugs and tears and thank yous we went and had a great time. So you can either force them like my friend did or ask someone else - Philliprocks

Well as much as I love Disney this will be my last year to be a AP. I have been a AP dingo I was 10 and I was trying to teach my kids the same way to continue the tradition. With the price changes makes harder for me to even consider to renew. I will be going once a year at least but as AP I would have to tell my kids we just can't afford it not even on a payment plan its just to much for me. Wel More...
