Funny this is posted...my 5th grader just left to spend the night rigging and stuff on a historical ship at SF's Hyde Street Pier 27. They sleep about 2 hrs and have to stand night watch shifts etc. The crew is strict and will yell if they get out of line. The "setting" is as if the 1906 earthquake had recently hit and the men are off fighting fires and rebuilding...so the youth are traveling up the coast to get lumber to rebuild SF. Gonna be a long, cold, night...no modern conveniences, food prepared by other 11 yr olds.... Avast! - TinkerSchelle

I don't make it to the parks as often as many MWers, so this is manageable and meaningful - picked up this nice journal at the Emporium for $15 to jot down highlights of each visit. What a treasure to read my own personal Disney magic book! You might want to try making one yourself.

Last night, when we spontaneously sang Happy Birthday to DVD at the 5:30, he was touched and then said, "but that's not the birthday we're here to celebrate." And he said something similar at the 7:30 when guests shouted their Happy Birthday's. Very classy and much appreciated
