Please pray for my wife RCmom. She fell off a ladder today and is in the emergency room. Our girls were so scared. We have a big trip to the parks coming up and she's only worried about the girls, but we are all really worried about her. Thank you.
Talk about a RAK!! We were walking towards Haunted Mansion when a really nice lady stopped my husband and asked if he served in the military (he was wearing a USMC shirt). She then gave him a card with a $5 Disney money to thank him for his service! Thank you the Larecy family for your thoughtfulness!!
Good morning, MWers! It's beautiful morning here at DL! Today is the first day of my vacation, my first day back at the park after being blocked, AND my one year anniversary on MouseWait! Hope everyone has as fabulous of a day as I will!
Our trip to Disney this week was bittersweet, as we went to get our minds off my husband being deployed overseas, but it was also absolutely magical. A group of young adults gave up their place in line so my daughter could meet her hero Buzz Lightyear as we'd been told the incorrect time to find him. This is my 2.5 yr old walking with Buzz as he took her by the hand and let her walk him out. Momen More...
Had such a wonderful experience @ DL last week thanks to the Disney Parks Blog. My wife was selected to be a part of a group to tour some of the windows along Main Street with Jon Storbeck, VP of DL Park (I, unfortunately, was not...). Our daughter & I were planning to enjoy the park for a couple hours on our own while the wife was enjoying the tour. Upon checking in, my wife asked if our daughter More...
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
