a year ago today, we visited DL for the first time (we've been to WDW before a few times), we spent the best 5 days here, went home to Phoenix, and started looking for jobs and houses out here, and moved out here August 3rd! I just sat and watched this. Thank you so much for posting. (I think someone in the fam has this VHS somewhere!) In my minds eye I still see the park this way, when I was younger, no worries and on those amazing trips with my Grandparents. They instilled something so special in me and I will always be grateful to them for that now I have passed it to my own kids 😍 although my girls didn't get as much time with my grandparents as I would have hoped, I can still pass on the stories and memories. When we finally went during a "regular" time both of my little kids wanted to know why they changed the HM to not have Christmas stuff. It took a few conversations and a couple of youtube videos for them to realize that it was the "real" HM.
