During our last couple trips I noticed several adult guests wearing costumes inside the park. While talking to a CM I learned that DL lifted the "12 and under only" rule regarding costumes. When I heard that I remembered the lady from England who was denied entry because she was dressed as princess like her daughter. I still think maybe it should just be kids. Should costumed guests take pics   More...
BTW~ I also asked a security guard why guests are allowed into the park with clothes that are extremely revealing after seeing a woman with a dress so short when she took a step her front area was showing. His reply was "We can't tell people what to wear!" As she walked down Main St. not a pair of eyes wasn't on her. One of the Dapper Dan's was a little distracted. I asked if DL is private property how can they not implement their own dress policy. Restaurants give no service for no shirts, no shoes. Security reply "You live in California. DL has gone to court many times over this and basically CA courts say people can dress how they want, where they want." I left it at "Wow, yet my friend was denied entry for having a gun on his shirt even though guns are all over the park." He said that's different. Lol. Ok. But the guy with the "I want some weed" shirt was ok. I loved the stricter park rules of yesteryear. - Romec123aKaSmartyPants  627.2 #260 12:05PM
Hopefully she was wearing undies right? - Plumiegirl  7675.1 #3 12:24PM

I once saw a young lady wearing a pair of shorts where her cheeks were literally hanging out. I am not easily offended but not come on, use your brain. It was Disneyland, not a nightclub. - aidensmama  340.1 #603 12:54PM
Plumie~ if you consider dental floss thong as undies, then yes. I have a pic.lol - Romec123aKaSmartyPants  627.2 #260 1:03PM
maybe she was gonna stand up on the deck of a POTC boat while her friends took endless flash shots? - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  3398.7 #26 1:07PM

It's just common sense. Even in my offensive punk rock days, I went to DL without the offensive attire. It's DL! You just don't do that! By the way you can forward that pic to me for further analysis. - mightymike  272.8 #988 2:34PM
You took a pic?!? ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ You are my hero LOL - SPandEvLover  2685.8 #34 2:43PM

We need our own site like the People of Walmart (is that the name? I could be wrong) but for Disneyland hahaha - SPandEvLover  2685.8 #34 2:52PM
Smarty its lile the pic i have of that lady i saw with her cheeks out pushing a stroller a nd her hubby at her side. I did show you thst right? - ScarfGirl  638.6 #252 2:56PM
It's not just vulgar--it's also unsanitary! I see girls with near-bare bottoms sitting on the benches and seats in dining areas and rides. It's really gross! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  507.9 #343 3:39PM
lol @ SOS!! Thanks. Now, I won't be able to go on attractions without a tarp. - Alicewhoareyou  900.3 #156 3:40PM

I'm sure I will be attacked for having this opinion, but today's swimwear is no more, and sometimes much less, coverage than the average woman would get from a bra and panties. I've nit seen it too much at dl, but the FL park has waterparks, and I know they allow it there. We don't go to waterparks because of this (and also because skin cancer runs in my family). As to the costumes, I hope it doesn't catch on, and I don't think it will - LittleAprilShowers  549.6 #305 3:52PM
They always think I'm in a Flynn Ryder costume. But I wear normal clothes. Maybe it's because I'm so darn handsome? - Mouse4life  1150.1 #112 11:15AM

I agree with spoonfull o sugar that it's inappropriate for teens and adults to wear costumes except for Halloween. I get very irritated at the way I see people dressed in the parks. Drug or sexual content on shirts, half dressed girls, see through clothing, mini skirts that show their undies, shirts that are so small they could qualify as a bra....I don't understand how such in inappropriate clothing is allowed in the parks. If Disney can control people in costumes why can't they control a dress code? - UmFromUmbridge  258.4 #1125 2:43PM
Sorry. Didn't see CMBaloo's post. I refer all to his post that has the DL wesite's standard of dress for the park. - AKMouse  421.6 #443 2:44PM
His was in reference to this post. I believe. - Romec123aKaSmartyPants  627.2 #260 3:17PM
Yes. I had originally posted the same thing he did but as a comment here. It seemed to be a long post to have it twice. - AKMouse  421.6 #443 3:30PM
