A few snapshots from around this time yesterday, at the one and only Club 33. So, I haven't posted in awhile but I wanted to share this with my MW family. I had the most amazing time with the best company - Sonja, Bullseye, MadameLeota, deltachiq, WillieRose, justcallmeKP and her mother, dining there. If it weren't for MW, I wouldn't have ever met this fun, caring, hilarious group of people. We sn More...
Just an fyi, the structure is closed and they're directing traffic to the overflow DTD parking. The turnstiles are up so people can drive straight through but no one is doing so, causing MAJOR traffic on Disneyland Drive. Park at Toy Story and save yourself 30 minutes!
👀🎶 When the crypt goes creak and the tombstones quake, spooks come out for a swinging wake. Happy haunts materialize and begin to vocalize. Grim grinning ghosts come out to socialiiiize.. 🎶🙈
This is the only way I know how to end a 12+ hour day at the parks in this unbearable heat wave: Enjoy my chocolate chip hot fudge sundae with mocha almond fudge and cookie dough ice cream #dessert (from #GibsonGirl) on the MW porch, plus good company 🍪🍫🍦😋
It was good to be back home after a few weeks. Closing out the park never gets old.. I haven't been able to do this since New Year's! However tonight I was able to with some amazing people 😃🏰✨ s/o to vfxgenie for letting us be artsy with your camera!
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
