I know this isn't the most original picture but I wanted to share our true love picture. There are actually 4 of us, one is just hiding in my belly ;). On a side note, the banner that says True Love messes with my eyes, it looks like a cartoon banner lol.
What a sweet picture. Congrats on your baby on the way! 😊 - DisneyFanZoe

I don't know if anyone was wondering what the SP stood for on this sign but I just found out. I guess Tim Burton gave a shout out to Sinister Pointe (SP) haunted attraction in Brea. We've been going to that maze for years and it's pretty cool to find out Tim Burton has seen it! I found this out on the Facebook page for Sinister Pointe.

Does anyone know what time Hungry Bear closes on weeknights? We've gone a few times at about 5:30-6pm and the restaurant part is always closed. I checked the food section on this app but it didn't give me the hours. Thank you! :)
it usually closes an hour before park closing, but if its not that crowded, it will close early - BaseballMickey_CM

Ok, it must have closed early on the days we went because it wasn't crowded. I've been craving the fried green tomato sandwich lol. Thank you so much! - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 1:58PM
when i checked mw yesterday it showed closed that was around 6:00, and it was insane crowded. i love that place! - OhanaPhoto

#castmemberappreciation: I would like to say thank you to the cast members at Disneyland and DCA. This is kind of gross but a few times we have come across a child or adult being sick. Both times my husband tells a CM about it, they really act concerned, not grossed out or acting like they don't want to take care of it (like I've seen at other places of business). The CMs really go out of thei More...
Not live and not in park but wanted to share. We went to Halloween Town in Burbank, today and they had some really cute (but pretty expensive) Haunted Mansion stuff. If you are ever in the area, look them up and go! Great for a Halloween fix :).

Need opinions, please :). Our 5 year anniversary is coming up in September and I want to have dinner at Carthay but I was also thinking about doing the dessert seating for Fantasmic. I'm not sure which to do, since we can't do both. Any ideas? We will have our 20 month old with us, if that helps.
Have you seen Fantasmic before? I really enjoyed the Carthay Circle Restaurant, but I also know how a nice meal can become stressful with little ones. I personally would pick the dessert thing for Fantasmic just because I know my girls would enjoy that much more than sitting in a restaurant. If I knew they would behave, I'd do dinner instead. Hope that helps! - CaliCanuck

I have seen Fantasmic but it's been years and years. He's usually good at restaurants but, you're right, I'm not 100% sure he would behave lol. Actually, I really didn't think of that. I know he would enjoy Fantasmic too. Decisions, decisions. :) - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 4:30PM

#Retro pics: I hope no one minds, I just want to post one more :). This is me with Snow White, mid 80's. I like this Snow White, she looks like some actress, I can't figure out who though.
This picture is of my little sister and me, around early 90's I think. My sister, Rachel, has since passed from a car crash, a year after my mom, at the age of 18. Her and I have lots of memories together at the parks, including getting our first annual pass together. Wish they both were still here to see their grandson/nephew enjoy Disneyland. Thank you for letting me share these!

Happy retro day! I'm posting my retro pictures in honor of my mom and little sister. This first picture is of me and my mom, around 1981, I think. My mom has since passed from breast cancer. Disneyland has so many memories for me that it hurts to be there sometimes but I still love going because of the memories my parents have made for me! Anyway, sorry, I'm rambling!
Would it be ok to take a 21 month old to the Carthay Circle restaurant or would y'all say it's too fancy?
I probably would have taken mads that young, just so I didn't miss out on a great restaraunt. I took her to my fav nice restaraunt all the time at that age, although if she got too funnsy I'd get the rst of my food to go so I didn't dusturb people. Rarely happened since thankfully mads was pretty good at places. - madsdad

Thank you! I will do the same, if he gets fussy, we will just leave. - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 7:42AM
Daniel usually does good at places but I know there are some expensive restaurants I wouldn't think to take him to, I wasn't sure if this restaurant is like that. - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 7:47AM
In my mind it would depend upon how rare a treat eating somewhere nice like this is for you. If you get to enjoy fine dining on a regular occasion, and, worst case scenario, you had to leave mid-meal so as not to disturb other guests, would it be no big thing, or would it be a heartbreaking experience? Also, you know better than we how long and well you are able to occupy/distract your child. Keep in mind, he/she will be tired, over-stimulated and probably hungry. - LittleAprilShowers

Good points! We rarely go to fine dining restaurants but if we have to leave in the middle, I won't mind at all. We have taken him to a lot of restaurants and he usually does really good but there have been times where we had to walk out with him. I just wasn't sure if The Carthay was too fancy to take a baby. Thank you for your response! :) - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 7:45AM
I need some opinions please. I really want to buy tickets to the Halloween event (my husband and I love the Fall/Halloween) but it is expensive for us and my husband wants to wait another year to take our son. Our son will almost be 2 in October. I want to dress up with our son but don't want to spend the money if it will be too crowded to trick or treat. My opinion is, we don't take vacations More...
Don't children under 3 get in free? Honestly.... Man this sounds so harsh but I barley remeber anything in my life prior to my 7th birthday lol. - BooEve123

Lol, I know, I'm the same way! He will get in free though. My husband is letting me decide and I'm such a girl cause I hate making these decisions. - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 2:17PM
Honestly.... this may just be my opnion ( i had a rocky childhood lol... so maybe that is why I do not remember my like young youth) But make this more a trip that you guys can enjoy time together and take lots of photos with the little one. I am not child psych but between 2 and 3 when your child is 18 they wont be like, remeber that one time when I was 3 and i saw mickey for the first time. BUT you will be able to capture photos. and the costumes for 2 year olds are adorbs:) Sorry I am not more help:) I would just maybe put your husband and your happiness a little ahead right now;) what would make you guys happy you guys will be happy having family time that is just an extra;) - BooEve123 800.3 #115 2:23PM
You are a big help! Thank you for your opinion. I'm more excited about the photo ops than anything! :) - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 3:03PM
I think your son,who would get in free under 2, would have a blast. I have done it each year and they outdo themselves. Everyone has an amazing time and getting to see the nighttime parade with Halloween costumed characters is so worth it! - alwaysbouncinby

I forgot they have a parade! My husband won't dress up but I have cute costume ideas for my son and me. - kss4tink 216.8 #1394 2:21PM
It's a fun event! My son enjoyed it a lot at almost 3 last year. Ultimately, he won't remember it whether you go this year or next, but it will be a memorable time for you. My only caution is that kids tucker out or get crabby before the event is over. Plan ahead to make the best of it. For us, we made sure to bring the comfy stroller he could fall asleep in. And we were able to trick or treat once he slept. - cynDOLEwhip

Does anyone know, if the parking structure, for Disneyland, opens an hour before the park opens, does the Downtown Disney parking area open at the same time?
