Little miss tonight! Had to escape reality for awhile! Her MRI went well on Monday, even though the results weren't what we were hoping for! Her left kidney is absent, her sacrum ends at S2, instead of S5 like its suppose too, she has type 2 split cord malformation and her bladder is enlarged with trabeculation! And the most frustrating part is that all of that went undected and overlooked in nume More...
She is a sweet baby and I am praying for her. Lord, we know You can do anything You want for us if it is Your will for our lives, so I ask you to please heal this little one, with a smile so bright as hers, she is truly Your child. Help her mommy and family feel Your presence and guidance and peace in all the days ahead. Love them forever Oh Lord, in Jesus's name I pray, Amen. Oh wow.. I understood every bit of those diagnoses. Sometimes things aren't what we expect them to be, but we learn to deal with what we've been handed in life with prayers, love & support from others. My daughter had to have a vcug test performed last week & the only way I could get her calmed down & wear the hospital gown was to put one on her Minnie & Figuero too! Plus I promised her that we would go to Disneyland as soon as the test was over & that's exactly what we did! I usually don't post a lot or ask for help but if can send positive thoughts & prayers for my sweet girl I would appreciat More...
My stepson was born with Kidney Reflux..his urethra was twisted and knotted and wasnt allowing the waste to be removed from his body which poisoned his kidneys. It wasnt discovered until he was about 2 1/2 as to what exactly it was. He had surgery to repair it but still ended up with his kidneys failing. He was put on the transplant list at UCSF. At 5 yrs old he had a transplant. He just had his 6 year anniversary of his transplant with only one rejection scare which was reversed with medication and steriods. So whatever you do..don't give up! Kids are amazing in what they can handle! I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers and hope they figure it all out quickly. In the meantime keep your chin up!
