Hello MW! It's been a while! Well, our next Disney trip is planned! Jaylene and I are spending my 20th birthday in the parks in February! 😊 I'm so excited! The last time I was there, I had a feeding tube so I couldn't go on anything like scream'n or TT. IM SO EXCITED ☺
Yesterday was one of the best Disney days of my life! I started out my day with an amazing cast member who insisted on giving me a birthday button that said "beautiful" even though it wasn't my birthday, all the cast members were very accommodating with my tube and me being very weak, and I finally got to see Peter Pan! Although I wasn't feeling well and I couldn't go on TOT or California scream'n More...
Just got to the park and bought my tickets from cast member Rob who insisted on giving me lots of celebration buttons. He surprised me with a birthday button that says beautiful! What a wonderful start to the day! :)
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
