I've been a Disney fan since I can remember! Love being in Disneyland! Premium AP holder! Favorite ride of all time : HM followed by TOT, SM, Screamin, and Pirates :-D If you are ever in the parks I love hanging out with fellow Disney
I have an AWESOME girlfriend! Last time we were at the parks, I looked all over both parks for 3 days for these... No luck :-( well this week my GF's cousin was at the parks and my GF asked her to pick up a pair of these if they were back in stock. Well as you can see they were and my honey couldn't wait till X-mas to give them to me :-) seeing as how I have a movie accurate Vader Costume she felt More...
When I went to Stan Lee's Comikaze this year. I had the awesome opportunity to meet the lovely miss Alyssa Milano. She was so sweet and told me I looked amazing. Like every other man my age, I had a huge crush on her as a teenager, so this was surreal :-) She is still as gorgeous as ever ;-)
I was hoping someone could help me! Can you please let me know if you have seen the Mickey Vader Helmets back in the park? I really wanted one the last time I went and they were sold out! I have friends who could go to the park and get me one but want to know if and where they have them. Thanks y'all :-)
So one of the highlights from MHP was after waiting in a very long to meet Mickey and Minnie. Once we got to the front I flexed for Minnie and Mickey immediately pushed me away and tried to keep Minnie from seeing my. My GF tried to win Mickeys attention so Minnie got upset with him. Mickey wouldn't let me stand by his lady but she was adamant about doing so!! After scrambling back and forth we fi More...
Besides the Halloween party, my girlfriend and I spent the weekend celebrating our 1 year anniversary, which is on the 27th. I took her to a place where neither one of us had eaten (which is rare for me), SteakHouse 55! It was amazing !!! We both did the Prixe Fixe menu! Everything down to the service was magical! We ate soo much !
We had an AMAZING time at the Halloween Party. We created quite the battle between Mickey and Minnie when I showed her my muscles. Bummed I didn't make it to the mansion meet up. Got to the park a smidge to late! Anyways. Hope to make it tomorrow for the party! Goodnight!
Yay! Finally the day has come! Me and my honey, on our way to the parks!! We are wearing Monsters, Inc inspired outfits ;-) then tonight.. Gaston and Claudia will be partying it up. Can't wait to meet some of you!
I am so BEYOND excited that in 5 days we will be heading to the park for MHP, that I had to share a teaser pic of my costume I will be wearing :-D shaved my facial hair off for the first time in 7 years:-D can't wait to finally meet some of you!
So wanna make a reso for me and the girlfriend since we will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary. Should I do steak House 55, or Carthay Circle. Haven't been to either? Thoughts or experiences would be awesome!
Since Talk like a Pirate day just passed and the celebration all next week in the parks... Thought I would share a pic of me as Jack and my awesome friend Kathy as the Red Head!! Keep a weather eye on the horizon, SAVVY!
Well since it was two years ago that I got to be a part of that epic day, I thought I would share. I too camped out many hours for the POTC 4 premiere. That day the Disney gods smiled on me. This is MrMOMzers wonderful picture with a little magic added! We've been beta testing the MouseWait Advanced Composer for awhile now. This allows approved MWers to create their own "column" in the Lounge with expanded posts, pics, and videos inside the post. We are ready to open this feature up to more people who are intersted in having their own MouseWait Column in the Lounge. Your posts could be featured on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ and seen by our 100,000+ strong social media audience!
This feature is best used for instructional posts, history posts (like Duchess_SMK's column), and for reporting news (i.e. BaseballMickey_CM's posts). You could also do this to create a post describing your recent visit to the Parks with multiple pictures, videos, and more--think of it like an article that would appear in a magazine. The Advanced Composer only works on the web version. GO HERE TO APPLY and watch your email for more info (make sure you're email client is not blocking our emails or sending them to Spam--for some reason icloud.com, me.com, and mac.com will not allow our messages to come through.)
Thank you to everyone who strives to add quality content to the Lounge! Thanks again to MrMOMzers for the amazing picture!
Mr. Disney was one of five children, four boys and a girl. He was the fourth born Disney son. He was named after his parents pastor and friend Walter Parr, a preacher at St. Paul Congregational Church. The pastor, in turn, will later name his son Elias, after Walt's father.
Most of Walt's childhood was spent on a farm in Marceline, Missouri, where he began drawing, painting and selling pictures to neighbors and family friends. In 1911, the family moved to Kansas City, where his love for trains really developed. His Uncle, Mike Martin, was a train Engineer who worked on the route between Fort Madison, Iowa, and Marceline. Walt would later work a summer job with the railroad, selling newspapers and snacks to the travelers. To read more about Walts love for trains

To watch a short biography of Walts life:
Walt and Lillian Disney with unnamed friend, London, 1935.
Walt Disney in my opinion, is a wonderful example of the American dream! He represents: imagination, optimism, creation, and self-made success in the American tradition. He brought us closer to the future, while telling us of the past, it is certain, Walt Disney was a great man! He and his brother Roy co-founded Walt Disney Productions, which became one of the best-known motion-picture production companies in the world! Disney was an innovative animator and created the cartoon characters we all love to watch today. :) He won 22 Academy Awards during his lifetime, and was the founder of the magical playgrounds that ties us all together, Disneyland and Disney World. Had he been alive today he would be 112 years old! Happy birthday Walt! Thank you so much for believing in your dreams! You are a true inspiration.
In honor of today, it would be fun if we all mentioned our favorite quote from Mr. Disney. I'll go first, I have many, but this one always sticks out:
"I've always been interested in the past and history and I think it's vital."
Thanks for reading and watching! Hope you all have a terrific Thursday!
