Hmmm..... I really don't like it! Apart from the fact that they're messing with something really classic, I think they're going to end up feeding more messages into women that tells them that sickly skinny is what's IN and pretty. Heaven knows we're already bombarded by marketed messages and images of real women who are very thin, and that it's causing loads of self-esteem issues for women (especially young girls.) Now they are going to add fuel to the fire and take a cartoon character (who is known for her timeless beauty and classiness) and turn her into their ideal form of beautiful. Minnie is a cartoon character that young girls now see as beautiful but apparently they're going to be told that she's not skinny enough either. Nooo! I'm not for it.
It kind of reminds me of that movie The Stepford Wives where they got sucked into the club and the wives were turned into robots (something like that....) Minnie is great how she is! I don't think she needs to be skinnied down to what Barney's thinks is beautiful. - jalensmommy

Actually MW uses PHP script that just adds an temporary watermark layer which is non-destructive. If you're using FireFox, then right-click the image, select "Copy Image Location," and paste to a new tab of window, erase the PHP script applied to the image and voila - clean image. - onezerohero 154.1 #2280 10:59AM

It appears that its time for me to man up and eat some crow. I sincerely apologize for doubting your intentions and making fun of your RAK. MW has become a second family to me and I didn't want to see folks get their hopes up and later be let down. The Internet can be a scary place, and offers from unknown strangers can often turn out badly. Most MWers dream of a chance to go to Club 33, so I'm sure you can understand that it raises suspicions when a new mysterious user posts a RAK for a chance to go.
