From Last years experience... People decided to watch the parade which then left many lines for rides free... Its probably crowded just on main street since that's where they will be taping the Christmas special :) hope that helps

Usually when they film the parade they also do the concert too :) that's what happened last year when I went and Selena Gomez was the one performing :)
