We've had the Plaza character breakfast many times so was looking to try something new.

Have you considered Goofy's Kitchen? We love it because they have such a huge variety of food and it is good.  We have gone twice and each time the characters have interacted with us for quite a long time.  My daughter loves Pluto and he seems to always be there.  We go early, first reservations, on a day we do not have a Magic Morning so we eat with an almost empty restaurant and then we walk over to the parks and get a full day in.  Of course, we do the parks from ropes to closure.  We will do Goofy's again in June because my daughter, 11 years, loves it so much.  She doesn't want to try another. - dianeburns1998  136.1 #3109 10:56AM

I appreciate all the feedback.  I think we will just stick with Plaza this trip.  It's just my husband and I. Plus they are amazing with my gluten allergy and just take my order and make everything seperate then bring to table so no chance of getting any gluten. We braved yesterday at the parks.  Five umbrellas broken but we survived.  We unfortunately fly home Monday morning.

I'm cleaning and found some old stuff from the war in 1941.  And  a book from Glasgow from 1939.  my parents were both stationed overseas during WWII, my dad as a corporal in the army air corp and my mom in the army air corps flying nurse  corp! They met in England. Was hoping for DL stuff but this is interesting! Stories on the bad ones during that time, farm news and comics😍😍 - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 9:39PM

beentoall, I thought I thought of you immediately. It's this small book of a hundred or so pages with maps and tidbits from  1939. If I can make a copy I'll let you know. My dad  were stationed there during the war so it's probably a history or tourist book.  - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 11:36AM
Hello @Goofytom! I'm have a FANTASTIC time. We're in Kanab, Utah. Went to Zion NP on Friday then to Bryce Canyon NP where it snowed. We were supposed to go snow shoeing but the snow storm made it a bit hard. Also the visibility was pretty bad. We're going to try again tomorrow. Trip to Disneyland in 31 days!!!can't wait so beyond excited and ready.  We've been moving so this is a very much needed trip and haven't been since October of 2015. Can't wait.  Been several years since we've gone in February but gonna have to being our patience I understand since we will be there over presidents weekend.

Hello! Well I don't work tomorrow but it's not cuz of the holiday. Just have the day off. Worked a long shift today but the restaurant business is kinda slow after the holidays 😕 I will be in Disneyland in 20 days!! YAY! I can't wait! I've been looking at apartments lately for my move cuz if I just transfer to another IHOP down south, I  won't have to look for a job! So I can move right in to a place! 😀 - sheridanrabbit  1209.1 #173 10:03PM
I hope you enjoy your much needed day off tomorrow. I think a lot of people are short on funds after the Holidays and have bills to pay so no eating out.  Your trip will be here SOON! That transfer idea sounds great. - RadiatorSprings4Ever  3298.5 #52 10:17PM

. Well, today was interesting. I thought I was well enough to go shopping, and almost needed to be taken from Costco in an ambulance. The positive thing was that after getting to the ER, we found that somehow I have become severely dehydrated and that all these chest issues are most likely related to that. So, as scary as it all was, I am beyond grateful to be feeling like myself this evening. What a relief! - DarthTinkerbell  1517.8 #134 10:06PM
Oh my goodness!  Glad you're ok!  Is it as simple as just needing to drink more water/electrolytes, or is it going to be more complicated than that?   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  707.0 #323 10:09PM

I am so sorry!😔Sometimes an unexpected event can shed light on another area and give you the answers you need. I hope they find out what this is.🙏🏼 - RadiatorSprings4Ever  3298.5 #52 10:20PM
Being dehydrated can affect lots of   your body! Glad they think it's something they can fix right away! Did you get a free sample before you left Costco??😬😬 - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 10:22PM
Sorry for the joke but I know with medical issues , you need the laugh!😍 - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 10:23PM
If this ER doctor is right, it was the dehydration, which was at a pretty serious level, that was causing many of these issues I'm going through. My primary has been pushing a certain medication, for something I kept insisting I didn't think this was, which contributed to the dehydration. ER doctor also suspects fibromyalgia, so we are trying some pain meds for that. Hopefully this is the answer, and this heart event monitor will be for not. - DarthTinkerbell  1517.8 #134 10:30PM
Spoonful_O_Sugar I feel so much better after the amazing IV's I was given today, and I will continue to be pushing Gatorade and water to make sure this doesn't happen again. I had no idea severe dehydration could feel so bad.  - DarthTinkerbell  1517.8 #134 10:32PM
clawton RadiatorSprings4Ever it was scary, but I feel almost at 100% right now, so I'm ever so grateful for an excellent ER doctor who was actually listening to me. It feels great to be able to actually function again! - DarthTinkerbell  1517.8 #134 10:34PM
((Hugs)) glad you're feeling better and are getting some answers.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  707.0 #323 10:35PM
secretagentangel no, no sample for me today.😂 Now that I think about it, I don't think they had any samples out. What's with that???? - DarthTinkerbell  1517.8 #134 10:35PM
I am glad you are feeling better and that must have been so scary, but still take it easy!😘 - RadiatorSprings4Ever  3298.5 #52 10:37PM
Well if it is fibromyalgia you're more than welcome to ask me everything because if that's what it is you need to start pushing the exercise as soon as you know that's what it is because it will help you not have to take as many pain pills in the long run. And you can't be afraid to take the pills either because I had a doctor that told me you have to sit there and say will  my quality of life be better if I took this pill or didn't because I had a real problem taking the pills in the beginning. But if you exercise,  you'll take a lot less than most people and that's better for your body. And you already exercise a lot so you're going to do fine. It's the fogginess of the brain and the tiredness that gets me. I hope it all works out good for you that you have a good Doctor who will watch over. That's one of the main things is to have a good doctor😍😍😍 - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 10:44PM
My primary doctor has been pushing acid blockers for years, despite me saying this pain could in no way be acid. I was a mess today , but told the ER doctor that I was in no way going home with another acid blocker that just makes me feel even worse. I'm so grateful that he listened to me, and can totally see how this pain could be fibromyalgia as I've been struggling with it for about 10 years now. Expect plenty questions from me on this.😘 - DarthTinkerbell  1517.8 #134 10:55PM
DarthTinkerbell hopefully this is the answer!!! 🙏for you😘  - sultan  275.2 #1234 11:04PM

Im late to the party...im so glad u went to er. So they could thoroughly chk u out. Some meds dry u out no matter how much liquid u drink...u end up dehydrated. U sound like u know yr body well & listen to it. Also you keep talking about it until some one listens to you! That's the best thing. We have to advocate for ourselves. Btw, my costco is literally next door to a large hosp...they'd could just gurney me there! Love & prayers.  - Saldogmom  73.7 #4321 12:37AM

Im glad you are feeling better! When ii was pregnant last time I felt like I was going to die. I could not move it was horrible. I was talking to my friend who was a nutritionist and she said I will be right over!  She gave me Gatorade with ice and an hour later I felt like a new person!  I was intaking small amounts of water but it wasn't enough. Needed electrolytes.  - don't know what your other symptoms are but look into Ehler Danlos Syndrome. It has to do with defective collagen. Collagen holds our body together and symptoms manifest in different ways, including dehydration.  - PrincessDuckie  954.8 #230 12:26PM

A RAK is a MW tradition that was started by our friend , the late Dahulagirl. It stands for random act of kindness and it can be anything. You can give away a nice gift like above or you can give away fast passes or you can do them in the parks (which are a bit hard to do but can be done) a RAK for credits or stickers it can be anything you want it to be. WHAT does the dining package do for this parade?

Tagged in: NEWS
They've been taking reservations since last week. I believe alladins is super low at $20 a person. I'll go double check ☺️ - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 11:39AM
And please remember, your credit card is charged $10 a PERSON! It used to be just $10. Now If you don't cancel, you get charged $10 for all in your reservation . Easiest is to reschedule, then no charge. 😳 - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 11:41AM
Thanks  - pikaplaid  7694.7 #16 9:54AM
I booked a reservation for the Blue Bayou Main Street Electrical Parade dining package for Sunday, 2/12 and am so excited!  We have done dining packages at the Blue Bayou before and they do not disappoint! - AngiMouse  543.9 #431 1:17PM

We did that for fantasmic a few years ago when they first started it.  It was well worth it, but confusing when we lined up. - DisneyVacationLover  507.5 #469 11:04AM
It was well worth it, but I also agree lining up was confusing.  We did end up right along the fence in the splash zone, though!  All-in-all, it was a win for my family and we will do it again for the new  - AngiMouse  543.9 #431 6:16AM
That sounds like fun! What are the prices?  - Tinkertoes83  101.8 #3752 9:49PM
I believe it is $62 per person, and AP discounts do apply! - AngiMouse  543.9 #431 9:04PM
For those that have done this is it preferred seating or a special viewing area? Thx in advance  - excmdlgurl  518.9 #458 12:20PM

I wish I was decorating. Moving into a new house on December 20th so that's great but not 😀

I'm waiting until next weekend. Still the traditional "up Thanksgiving weekend, down New Year's Day" person.  - msdizmaui  1034.9 #217 3:26PM
i always did it that way also but with me in retail and working more days longer hours I just like to come home and enjoy it. Plus it takes me so long to do what I do and get my villages in place also.  - mmddgp  1853.7 #2 3:35PM
Same here! - jacdanfan  15093.8 #5 3:55PM
So Gary you wait till after thanksgiving and take down New Years.  - mmddgp  1853.7 #2 5:06PM
This year up on Thanksgiving weekend and down probably the week after New Year. We're getting a late start this year.  - jacdanfan  15093.8 #5 9:26PM
Very pretty! I'm not "allowed" yet lol - Poisen_Ivy  384.0 #664 3:12PM
Hubbie wasLike that for a while but one year I barely got a tree up because how crazy I was at work, he has never gave me a problem since.  - mmddgp  1853.7 #2 3:57PM
Ha fair enough. He's given in a few times and we're decorated day after Halloween lol. But when I do it, I go all out all at once lol. - Poisen_Ivy  384.0 #664 4:30PM
Looking beautiful!! I have the 10ft tree out in the kitchen ready for decorating and that's about it so far. It's sneaking up way too fast! Hopefully Sunday and Monday I'll get more accomplished, I'm off. - disneygrandma1  1714.5 #3 10:50PM
It is coming way too fast. I may get the 12 ft in living room up and decorated but may not have village done. I am only off on tues and thur of coarse but..... So we will see - mmddgp  1853.7 #2 4:05AM

Oh my good luck. We did that in 2009. That year we got our keys to our new home a couple days before Christmas so we did not do any decorating that year. The kids ( grown and out of the house) thought we were sick because we did no decorating and had no idea we bought a new house till Xmas eve when everyone got their Xmas card with us pictured on our new porch of the House! 😉 - mmddgp  1853.7 #2 4:02AM

That's the hardest question ever. There's so many favorites I usually categorize them by princess movie vs animals vs Pixar lol My favorite I think would have to be Alice in Wonderland. I've loved it since I was very tiny and even have some Alice tattoos. But I have a deep desire to look exactly like Ariel and I could live in Halloweentown - FoolishMortal138  733.6 #313 9:29PM
I don't know why but I never could watch the whole Alice in  Wonderland. And I still don't know if I've  seen the whole thing. Just glimpses from when I was a kid. Though I've seen the new live action ones. And I'd like to look like Ariel too as long as I have legs! 😜😜 - secretagentangel  11771.4 #9 10:03PM
secretagentangel oh my gosh, the legs, the belly (or lack there of,) the hair! Ugh I wish I was Ariel lol The little mermaid was my first movie ever and was obsessed with being a mermaid... so I take back Alice as my favorite and make it Little Mermaid officially lol - FoolishMortal138  733.6 #313 11:23PM
