@HojoAnaheim Where do I find the link to make a reservation via Mousewait? Looking to celebrate the 10th anniversary of my 30th B'day with you this Friday! Last minute decision and the only special I see is % off with a 7 day advance :(
Just a thought... I visited DL yesterday and while I was there I saw/heard how some people can be so dishonest and encourage their children to do the same. I really think DL needs to revise their rules for those in the 'disablity' lines because after 80 mins of waiting in the 'Nemo' line I finalliy get to the front and a family of 9 walks right up with a son in a rented wheelchair and has a soft More...
Rope drop: Kids can ask to 'open' the park as well. They get a t-shirt and button. 'Opening' meaning starting the park music with a push of a button. Cute but, the two kids I saw got trampled because the crowd runs for all of the lines. Enjoy if you're at the park today... I am! Yay!
Just want to say thanks for all of the posts.. You've made this visit extra exciting just reading the updates, tips and hints! There should be a MW meeting area- it's always cool to be able to put a face to the names :) just a thought!
Reading all of the favs remind me of my visits when I wad younger! The BBQ place was always a must and family tradition on Thanksgiving! The people movers were cool... I remember thinking that we really shrunk! :) I wish DL had all of the fancy 'snacks' and flavored popcorn like at Disney Sea and Tokyo Disney... I'm headed to the park tomorrow... Where's Maynard?
A personal favorite is the beautifully hand crafted music box
A fun video from 2013, the story behind the music box with Clopin, Figaro and the even watch the Tangled Tower being put into the Fantasy Faire:
Of course, no trip to the Fantasy Faire would be complete without a visit to the Royal Hall. Loved this artist rendition, that's just how my girls are when they enter the Hall. ::sigh::
Took this next part directly from Disney Parks Blog:
“After walking into our main entrance, you will first go through a garden-like setting before entering the reception hall,” said Michel Den Dulk, Creative Director of Fantasy Faire for Walt Disney Imagineering. “Once inside the Royal Hall, guests will discover a beautiful gothic interior with nice wallpaper, wall cresting, wood finishes and chandeliers.”
Passing through a series of spaces, including the Grand Hall, you’ll have the opportunity to meet as many as three Disney princesses, from classic stories such as “Cinderella” and “Sleeping Beauty.”
Dont forget to grab a sweet treat from Maurice's Treats! At the time, (isn't there more now?) the adorable cart featured 3 “Twists” and a new signature beverage: Boysen Apple Freeze.
In a tribute to the historic Carnation Plaza Gardens, a shield over the archway leading from Fantasy Faire to Rancho del Zocalo in Frontierland displays the letters “CPG.”
