Love everything Disney, the running joke amongst my family and friends is that I may need an intervention. It is a contest to see who loves it more my daughter or me.

It would be fun if you could afford it. I would do it once if I could. It is very expensive and you do have do it for no less than 6hrs.  I would call on it. Some days are more expensive than others and it is per hour fee.

Expensive and wonderful. - JenGwen323  2087.3 #83 7:48AM
I am guessing you mean the plaid. I inquired about it and was told. You get a 6 hour lecture on the park history. Special seating for parades and fireworks, and dining reservations were taken care of. I was told no special ride line privileges. However, I saw a lot of people with plaids bypassing the stand-by line.  - Lelundrial  818.1 #249 11:03AM

That's true for pretty much everywhere.  My husband & I went out last weekend; he ordered a Bee's Knees cocktail.  It was tasty, but super tiny.  Definitely not worth the $10.50 we paid.  On the other hand, my Moscow Mule was the same price and about twice the size. - DisneyHeidi09  292.6 #1037 3:42PM

I think it is many elements. The music, the characters, the setting and the weaving of the tale.  I love the lessons in the Disney movies.  Every single one has one. And I feel they  resonate with me long after the movie is over.

Well put.  Disney definitely has the perfect recipe for a great movie - beentoall  1299.5 #0 7:37AM
For me it is about how I connect with the characters. Sometimes it has to do with a particular time in my life, or a memory about the film. I'm not sure that means it is a classic in the mass's eyes but that's what makes it a classic in mine. My favorite Disney movie is Lady and the Tramp. I love the story, characters, animation, and music, but for me that movie has many childhood memories. I would always watch it when I was at my grandma's house and I would ask her to rewind it so I could watch it over and over and over again. To this day, I know the words by heart. - TheRealAlice  237.9 #1580 2:02PM
The characters are key. If I find them annoying and don't care if they survive. That is a film I don't care for. I liked Wall-E from the beginning.  - Lelundrial  818.1 #249 2:12PM
I really liked Wall-E too. - beentoall  1299.5 #0 11:44PM
I think the elements that make a film a classic are great storytelling, wonderful characters, and timelessness.  Timelessness is if you revisit the film, and the story and characters still ring true, they still resonate with us, or make an impact or impression on us.  Does the film continue to speak to us, or draw us in?  The story may be simple, but sometimes simple is best.  Others may not be an instant classic because they are more dense and layered.  It takes time to unravel them to understand and truly appreciate them.  Some films are fun at the time they are released, but may become dated if they are too "pop". - DisneyHeidi09  292.6 #1037 8:34AM

Awesome!! We love Port Orleans Riverside.  You will so much fun.

I would highly recommend the Loews Royal Pacific hotel at Universal if you've not already booked something.  Getting the early entry and free express passes makes all the difference.  Harry Potter rides in each park can be completed before the park is open to everyone else.  Also the pool area is fantastic for the children.  Go to parks first thing, return to pool for lunch and then head back into the parks once quieter again.  Have a great trip :-) - beentoall  1299.5 #0 10:04PM
