I think the longest wait is usually Toy Story Mania. I don't care tho bcuz I love this attraction! I've been fortunate with RSR bcuz I could be at rope drop even when it just opened.  Otherwise, I'll do single rider. My son has had the best low wait times on CA Screaming. Usually as a single rider.  The other extremely long wait is Goofy's Sky School. Always so popular! - Saldogmom  7.8 #13779 2:12PM

"The very things that holds you down are going to lift you up" .. Timothy Mouse. Hi everyone and welcome to Thursday nights Up Late . So I think that's a neat little quote that can apply to many things ... But it made me wonder if you are an introvert or an extrovert? And how has that played a role in your life or profession ? Has being an introvert kept you from attending MouseWait meet ups even   More...

Oh, I am an introvert. When in Disneyland, I just can't bring myself to go to meet ups cause I'm so shy. I want t go so bad, but can't do it. I have recognized 3 Mousewaiters in Disneyland, but can't introduce myself. Drives me crazy. Hate being this way.  - disneyforme  776.8 #270 9:57PM

I guess I should answer this myself since it's a more personal one... My posts usually are kind of personal though πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I was definitely more of an introvert by nature , then my career placed me in a highly social position . SoI've become through conditioning an extrovert . But there's still a part of the old me that comes out at times ... So im kinda weird πŸ˜‚

Hi there!  Thanks for hosting!  We did look at DL weddings, but not seriously.  We got married around the same time as the start of the recession, so money was tight for everyone and aside from not wanting to spend a lot of the wedding itself, we didn't want our friends/family to have to do so in order to be there, esp the bridal party.  Our wedding was a low-key backyard affair with good food, good people, Disney salt and pepper shakers on the tables, and our horse watching from the nearby pasture πŸ˜‚ We honeymooned at DL 😍   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  659.1 #335 8:43PM

Two years ago on Mother's Day, my son and I were in line for TOT and we were right behind a mom, dad and their (very) little daughter. The daughter was scared the whole time in line and asked a million questions about the ride. The mom kept telling her that it wasn't a scary ride and it was for very little kids just like IASW. Someone next to us asked how old she was and the mom replied "four". Then they asked how she was going to handle the drops and when the daughter got scared to hear about that, the mom told her that the woman was lying and there weren't any drops. After hearing that, pretty much all of us spoke up and said this wasn't a good idea and she said that if her daughter knew that it was a scary ride then they wouldn't be able to go on it! She was seated in front of us for the ride and when it was done, she didn't speak when her parents kept asking how she liked it. Imho, that was practically abusive😞 - Nala  386.0 #629 9:18AM
Saw something similar when getting on Space Mountain. The youngest was about 5, and was scared in the queue. Older sister was about 11 and kept telling her "It is just like a merry-go-round." The apprentice and I both were shaking our heads, and I was getting angry. The kid was clearly scared and didn't want to go on. Father, and two other adults were in the group. They just dragged her through the queue. Then they get to boarding, she couldn't go on anyway because she wasn't tall enough. The parents could have switched off and not dragged the kid on. I didn't even bother with those rides until my boy was tall enough. Even then I waited for him to tell me he was ready. - Lelundrial  820.2 #248 10:30AM
Exactly! That's the only way to do it since the kids need to be ready by their own decision to go on a ride. I was hoping so badly that this girl wouldn't meet the height requirement, but sadly she did. I think it's very traumatizing for kiddos to endure a fast/scary ride when they didn't want to do it in the first place :( - Nala  386.0 #629 11:10AM

"If you are what you eat , then I only want to eat the good stuff".. Remy . Hello and welcome to Thursday nights Up Late . I keep seeing these ice cream sandwich shops opening up . The ones with different kinds of fresh baked cookies and then you choose what flavor ice cream to smooosh between the cookies πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹ so what flavor combinations would you ( or do you ) choose ? I was thinking a snicke  More...

Hi! Sounds like a great combo to me!! I tend to go either 1) simple cookie/ fancy ice cream or opposite. But I can barely eat 1 cookie and a scoop. Maybe I should make tiny ones- like Oreo sized? πŸ€” thanks for hosting!! - misschurro  7865.5 #14 9:08PM

I go with the chocolatey-est thing they have, usually double chocolate chip cookies with chocolate ice cream. There was an ice cream sandwich place by my college and there would always be a line around the block. Even at 2am in the rain, I swear. But the line moved quick and the sandwiches were only $2!! - RoyalCourtComposer  345.6 #737 11:57PM
Yum ! That's a deal !!! I would pack a cooler with me .. $2 per sandwich is a screaming deal πŸ‘ I can imagine the college students loved it 😊 - eviljules  1506.8 #125 12:01AM
Oh man I get something like this whenever I go to Snow Monster.  I usually get something different everytime.  So the last time I went I got Snickerdoodle Cookies with Cookies and Cream ice.  And the time before that, I got sugar cookies with Birthday Cake flavored ice cream. - SorcererD91  4827.8 #30 12:42AM

My favorite cereal is Post banana nut crunch ... But I pretty much eat a cup of egg whites with a slice of Canadian bacon every day . If we eat breakfast out , I usually treat myself to pancakes . I πŸ’œ breakfast foods any time of day πŸ˜‹

When i have cereal I love special k red berries with sliced bananas. If it's cold (like it is right now in the Bay Area) I love oatmeal with dried cranberries, blueberries, bananas, and maybe some brown sugar. When I'm feeling like something not so healthy then it's cinnamon, banana, chocolate chip pancakes with real maple syrup. Hmmm...sounds like I like bananas for breakfast I guess! - miadawn128  162.7 #2615 10:06PM

Hello , it really wasn't a toy . But my favorite thing to play with was my pony . And I loved my books .. Big surprise there . Lol! I did have a handheld electronic game called Merlin that was fun 😊. Thanks for hosting

I never really had many toys being in a large family and we played outside/camped/fish/water ski etc but one year when I was eight I got a Baby Tender Love, the first doll that felt soft. I loved that doll and always tucked it into bed. So.....when our house burned down one summer day (miracle as Mom and all 5 kids were out of the house) we came home and firefighters were still there and one came up and handed me my doll! In the fire and smoke they thought it was a real baby and one firefighter tossed it from the second story window to one waiting below. Not much else saved that day (except us). Thanks for hosting. - ShariRenee  12071.5 #8 10:15PM

Wow, what a special story. I can't even imagine how scary seeing your house on fire could have been for you as a child, but what a blessing to have the entire family safe and out of the danger of the fire. Were you able to keep the doll after the fire?  - DarthTinkerbell  1100.6 #182 10:27PM
I had her forever and then gave her to a neighbor young girl when I was in college. I still have a tiny version that I got a year later that my Great Grandma made all the clothes for. - ShariRenee  12071.5 #8 10:28PM

When I was a kid I had all of the Star Wars toys   I had them for years till I discovered fire crackers. Then I started blowing them up and having big battles. Lost many storm troopers in those battles. Bless their souls they are in a better place now. (The dump) πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - grumpyinphx  838.9 #242 11:16PM

I was obsessed with my little ponies!! I still have a few of my favorites still. And Care Bears and Littlest Pet Shop critters (before all the above got weird looking. Haha) My favorite toy of all time was a Pound Puppy named marshmallow and he's still in my room to this day, and I'm almost 28 πŸ˜‚ - FoolishMortal138  566.7 #396 7:02AM
Pound Puppies were adorable. ❀️ You are right about the LPS critters though. They did hit a very odd looking phase. My daughter was into those for a bit. - DarthTinkerbell  1100.6 #182 11:02AM
Barbie, Ken and Skipper. My mom spent hours making clothes for Barbie. For a 50 year old, she's managed to keep her figure and can still fit into her clothes. My granddaughters have her now. My other favorite toy was a "creepy crawler" oven. Various bug molds and special goop that solidified when heated. I don't like real bugs, but I don't run screaming from them either. - crazyfriends  7.8 #13778 11:41AM
