i haven't done any rides in DCA as my daughter is not a ride person and i can not leave her by herself if i wanted to go on a ride.  would love to to RSR (my parents have and loved it)  no screamin for me.  i have done TOT in April and never again. waited about 40 min.  not for me. love the people watching and happy faces of everyone - allana204  13.1 #9875 7:12AM
I think the longest wait is usually Toy Story Mania. I don't care tho bcuz I love this attraction! I've been fortunate with RSR bcuz I could be at rope drop even when it just opened.  Otherwise, I'll do single rider. My son has had the best low wait times on CA Screaming. Usually as a single rider.  The other extremely long wait is Goofy's Sky School. Always so popular! - Saldogmom  7.8 #13785 2:12PM

I guess I should answer this myself since it's a more personal one... My posts usually are kind of personal though πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I was definitely more of an introvert by nature , then my career placed me in a highly social position . SoI've become through conditioning an extrovert . But there's still a part of the old me that comes out at times ... So im kinda weird πŸ˜‚

Oh, I am an introvert. When in Disneyland, I just can't bring myself to go to meet ups cause I'm so shy. I want t go so bad, but can't do it. I have recognized 3 Mousewaiters in Disneyland, but can't introduce myself. Drives me crazy. Hate being this way.  - disneyforme  779.7 #269 9:57PM
Oh gosh don't be so hard on yourself hon. I think after reading other comments you'll realize you're in good company and not alone in your feelings . 😊 - eviljules  1506.8 #125 10:14PM
OK DM me your info and next time I'm in the park when you're in the park and there's   a meet up I'll meet you early in a secret hallway somewhere !!that way you can walk with me or we'll get one of the others to do it how's that? 😊 - secretagentangel  8515.8 #11 10:37PM

Doesn't sound silly at all.  - disneyforme  779.7 #269 10:55PM
too shy to comment.....psyche!  Extrovert it is!  Some times if I have too many Bayside Brews then hit the single rider line on Screamin' I feel like I'm gonna extrovert everywhere! - Voycekids  55.4 #4786 10:08PM

Quiet is actually awesome , and completely under rated, quiet men make awesome listeners , and usually nothing gets past them in their surroundings. Hi there!  Thanks for hosting!  We did look at DL weddings, but not seriously.  We got married around the same time as the start of the recession, so money was tight for everyone and aside from not wanting to spend a lot of the wedding itself, we didn't want our friends/family to have to do so in order to be there, esp the bridal party.  Our wedding was a low-key backyard affair with good food, good people, Disney salt and pepper shakers on the tables, and our horse watching from the nearby pasture πŸ˜‚ We honeymooned at DL 😍   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  659.7 #335 8:43PM

When i have cereal I love special k red berries with sliced bananas. Hello , it really wasn't a toy . But my favorite thing to play with was my pony . And I loved my books .. Big surprise there . Lol! I did have a handheld electronic game called Merlin that was fun 😊. Thanks for hosting

I never really had many toys being in a large family and we played outside/camped/fish/water ski etc but one year when I was eight I got a Baby Tender Love, the first doll that felt soft. I loved that doll and always tucked it into bed. So.....when our house burned down one summer day (miracle as Mom and all 5 kids were out of the house) we came home and firefighters were still there and one came up and handed me my doll! In the fire and smoke they thought it was a real baby and one firefighter tossed it from the second story window to one waiting below. Not much else saved that day (except us). Barbie, Ken and Skipper. My mom spent hours making clothes for Barbie. For a 50 year old, she's managed to keep her figure and can still fit into her clothes. My granddaughters have her now. Hi [email protected], if you wanted that user name then it's great. If you'd rather not have your email out there for all to see, you can go on your profile page and change your user name to something that's not an email. I did the same thing when I started and quickly realized I didn't have to so I changed it. Hope that helps.πŸ˜„ - secretagentangel  8515.8 #11 3:23PM

Haha, I was trying to figure 1800s pricing, but I guess not? $100 seems steep for back then, right?  Really fun, clever RAK that made us all think a little! πŸ‘πŸΌ - Spoonful_O_Sugar  659.7 #335 12:36PM
Thanks. Yes, I thot it was a lot too, but then, it's a gold mining town so maybe inflated prices along with supply and demand. - Melody_CM  23642.7 #3 3:35PM

Love going to that restaurant too! Going to the one in Santa Nella on my way down from the Bay Area next month-so excited! - miadawn128  164.0 #2598 9:36PM
A Pea Soup Andersons opened when I was younger living in good 'ol Selma.  Family would eat there a few times a month and I always got the loaded pea soup bowl for dinner (cheese, croutons, sour cream, bacon bits).  No longer there, although, there is a Cattlemens Steakhouse which is superb πŸ‘Œ - DisneyPrincessT  324.7 #841 10:54PM
I love pea soup from Pea Soup Andersons too. We stop often in Buellton on the way to SLO. You may want to try Ellen's Pancake House also in Buellton for Danish pancakes. They're super good! - DisneyDiane316  917.3 #220 8:28PM
Some leftover baked shrimp risotto, green beans and fruit salad. Really like the risotto.  - redsoxcarlos  4126.9 #40 7:49PM

Sounds tasty! πŸ˜„ - secretagentangel  8515.8 #11 8:01PM
dizneedude, I've done it both ways. Baked comes out pretty good, and is a lot less work than all the stirring with the traditional approach.  - redsoxcarlos  4126.9 #40 8:19PM
I have never tried baked risotto, but after googling it and seeing that queen Ina Garten has a recipe for it I can't wait to try it! Thanks for the tip! - Thumper13  518.7 #443 11:29PM
But how do you toast the rice before cooking? Actually I saw someone doing a baked version...but it wasn't in Italy πŸ˜‚ - dizneedude   1826.9 #102 9:36AM
dizneedude, are you thinking risotto or paella?  Never seen risotto that's crispy.  - redsoxcarlos  4126.9 #40 12:19AM
