Ok! So I'm down to trying to book a hotel! Grand is my favorite favorite BUT I can stay either 6 nights at the grand with a woods courtyard or 7 nights with a premium view at paradise pier! Which would you pick?!

I'm down for anything that allows me to stay longer - Poisen_Ivy  318.2 #865 12:07PM
I stayed at the paradise pier a few times I like it had a great view last time we stay had a problem with the shower told them about it but it didn't get fix right and there was no rooms to change to but they took money off the room and took off all the parking fees so that was ok  - Disneydollarpam  70.6 #4291 11:56AM
100% the Grand. It's a gorgeous hotel and the convenience of it can't be beat.Β  - DisneyDreamer18  218.9 #1818 9:31PM
I πŸ’™ the Grand ! I'd pick that one  - TinyDancerTay  566.4 #391 9:43PM

Has anyone heard any rumors of mystical spirits of the blue bayou will be back? We are planning a trip possibly end of September but would possibly do October if we knew the experience was coming again

I called this morning . They don't have any information as of yet . No dates , pricing or anything. They said to keep checking back in . Hope this helps for now  - eviljules  1493.8 #123 1:32PM
What is mystical spirits of the Blue Bayou?  - Bobbierocha  148.3 #2829 11:50AM
It was a dinner/experience during Halloween time. Dr faciler hosted it at blue bayou live entertainment then you got a little something and they escorted you to benches for the Halloween screams fire works it was well worth the expensive price  - excmdlgurl  398.3 #600 11:54AM

Had an amazing birthday week at Disneyland! Last night at 10:59 we got off its a small world bummed we didn't have time for one more ride on Peter Pan but just then my boyfriend says you wanna watch the parade no one is here? Of course I said yes! We sat very front row for paint the night! Lots of characters said happy birthday to me as they passed by! Amazing magical end to a great trip

Crazy question has anyone done and stuck to nutrisystem while in Disneyland? I'm gonna attempt it in a week and a half

Disneyland food don't have calories. So your good.πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ - toarrispirate  489.0 #469 12:06PM
- MissAmericaSings  441.1 #529 7:43PM
If you have to bring the foods with you, I don't know where you'd find a microwave . Either get a list from them on alternates when eating out, or look at your list for the week and try to match protein for protein, carb to carb  with the food at the parks. You can get proteins with no sauce, plain pasta, etc, bring a lemon squeezer for flavor in case they don't have lemons. And you can have a cheat day, but make sure you include extra exercise with that, then you'll feel better about it after.  - secretagentangel  8050.2 #11 1:29PM
I was thinking maybe White Water Snacks might have a microwave, but I'm not sure?  Either way, this is great advice.  Lots of healthyish options available now at DLR, with some modifications (ex: always ask for dressing on the side of salad so you don't end up with it all soggy 😷)   I also read that a Dole Whip soft serve has only 80 cals per half cup--though they probably give you more than that in the little bowls, it could still make a great treat if it's shared and there are no specific dietary concerns with any of the ingredients.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  648.0 #332 1:50PM
First aid might but not sure on them doing food. The DD Starbucks team members are super helpful too.  - secretagentangel  8050.2 #11 2:20PM
I am not sure what that diet includes, but there are so many wonderful and good choices available. You will probably be walking a lot, too. You'll be at Disneyland,so do treat yourself... a lil πŸ˜‰ - misschurro  7737.8 #13 12:08PM
One thing I like to do is google the different restaurants around the resort, and check out the menus. That way I can look them over and know in advance what are going to be the best choices. πŸ˜‰ - misschurro  7737.8 #13 12:09PM

Im booking my big 3-0 birthday trip to Disneyland next month Im wondering if blue bayou paint the night package is worth it or if we should just dine there without the package?

It's your 30th (), might as well go for it! We did the dining package when it was for Fantasmic and the food was great. The parade is pretty spectacular too so it would be really nice to have reserved seating for it so you don't have to spend time camping out a good seat.  - TheRealAlice  236.6 #1584 7:42PM
I'd go for Carthy circle and the WOC package. Just my 2 cents! I'm sure the BB package is incredible too!  - snappy  451.5 #521 5:46PM
Enjoy either experience, but if it were me, I'd also go with Carrhay Circle & WOC package. Having the package would be great for the Paint the Night ticket, but to me the food at Blue Bayou isn't as appealing and tasty as Carthay Circle. And, to me the restaurant is very dark and smells of chlorine from Pirates of the Caribbean. Whatever you choose, I hope you have a wonderful time and trip!πŸ˜»πŸ˜πŸ˜¬πŸ˜˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‰ - Catski23  30.9 #6172 12:39AM

Ok way into the distant future but do you all think we mystical spirits will be back this year at Halloween time? We are planning a trip in late September and I would love to do the experience again

Most likely. Halloween Time at the Resort seems to be starting earlier and earlier now. But with the 60th ending Labor Day weekend, it would probably start within a week or two after - BaseballMickey  8025.9 #12 1:03PM

It was this amazing dinner/experience that was offered on selected nights for Halloween time. You had dinner at the blue bayou with a special menu and entertainment at dinner by dr faclier and his special guests then u got a gift and premium viewing for the fireworks. It was $150 a person but I would love love love to save to do it again - excmdlgurl  398.3 #600 6:49PM

Ok so the question signature or signature plus pass I live in nor cal and come down maybe 2-3 times a year I don't know if we will come Christmas break or not... What do we think? My premium pass expires in 15 days

You can start Sig and upgrade to Sig+ later and pay the difference if you need. You also need to go roughly 3 days during Xmas to pay the difference. - DLKenCA  2941.2 #51 12:22PM
Yes I'm wondering the same thing. My premium pass doesn't end till October and I'm getting another trip in before then. I also live in NorCal and make the trip 2-3 times a year... - sheridanrabbit  268.4 #1251 6:19PM
Another possibility is not to renew your AP. If you come down during the Christmas holidays, you can buy a multi-day ticket and then on your last day use it to upgrade to a Signature AP. This allows you to visit the parks during the holidays without getting the Sig+. You do lose your renewal discount.  - NotReallyGrumpyBill  597.8 #366 8:33PM
I think if you are going to do for 3 days for Christmas than get the Plus ... Other wise get the Signature   - DisneylandDisneyland  489.2 #468 7:18PM
Thank you!! That's good to knowπŸ˜€ - sheridanrabbit  268.4 #1251 8:23PM
Because... As of right now Christmas is blocked on the Signature so you can save like $250 around that with not going during Christmas, but if your going during Christmas u have to get the Plus  - DisneylandDisneyland  489.2 #468 8:26PM

Question! Tonight is our Last night for us in the park before heading home we usually spend our last few minutes in fantasyland BUT because fireworks are at 8:40 and the park closes at 9 does that mean fantasyland will shut down around 7:30 and not reopen?!?

Oh good question! I'm not sure but that might be exactly what happens. You may want to ask a CM in fantasyland before that time to see if they know for sure. - TheRealAlice  236.6 #1584 5:44PM
