Me too. I've searched the Internet in hopes of finding something. I'm interested, but would like to wait to hear about it. I wonder if it includes viewing for PTN since it's right before fireworks. - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  71.1 #4024 10:31AM

Off topic but I am asking for pixie dust and prayers for my brother and all the other firefighters up there. I just heard from him and he is having a rough time seeing friends and coworkers hurt and has been out over 44 days trying to keep our community safe so please send thoughts prayers or pixie dust to those fighting

Lord, please protect the firefighters, police, and first responders and all the families involved as they fight all the fires around our country. Please put the fires out and protect everyone and everything. We thank You in advance. In Jesus's name, Amen. 😘 - secretagentangel  2421.9 #53 7:25PM

I work for a helicopter company that does air support for the fires. We have all our helicopters up there with our guys. They are doing the water drops from the air and support on the ground. They get few breaks, even when we send relief. Our guys and aircraft  have been moving with the fires. It's been a long hard summer. Know how you feel. - Winnie111286  6228.9 #16 2:02AM
This fire season has been brutal. Just read that the Valley fire has destroyed an estimated  1000 homes. And the fire is still  raging.  Can only imagine how bad things would be if not for the dedication  of these incredible people. - Bibba  452.1 #458 4:15PM

Does anyone know if hades will be out during the Halloween parties? I've always wanted to meet him

Yep - DarthFairy  247.4 #1342 12:18PM
DarthFairy do you know if they start over fast passes for the party ? Or how do fast passes work on part nights?!?!  We wanted to go on space Mt and getting there maybe at 4 since the party is at 7....  - AlyssaDisneyland  20.2 #0 4:57PM
Or should we be there earlier since we are going on Halloween?!?!? Any tips would be great !  - AlyssaDisneyland  20.2 #0 4:58PM
They don't have FPs  during the parties. I would go as early as you can, attraction lines get less during parade, beginning of trick or treating and late night. - secretagentangel  2421.9 #53 5:17PM
The Parade is my favorite! It's now a constant thing every time we got to the park to see Paint the night and play around with our paint brushes! So we will be going early to check in.  - AlyssaDisneyland  20.2 #0 5:42PM

Does anyone get this when trying to access their e-tickets? Does it ever get fixed my MIL bought us the tickets on her card and figured e-tickets were fine but now it says the name of the card holder has to be there to pick them up and she won't be with us :(

I believe someone else said they called and asked and you did not have to have the person present.  - MellieKay  263.7 #1184 1:12PM
thank you I was starting to panic :)  - excmdlgurl  304.5 #845 1:14PM
This is for the Halloween party - excmdlgurl  304.5 #845 1:11PM
I purchased mine online. I didn't receive a confirmation nor the tickets. However, the charge posted to my account. I called and was advised that there was a glitch, and I'll have to go to the ticket booth to receive the tickets. They instructed me to have my ID and the credit card used to purchase the tickets. What a bummer! I was hoping for convenience, but it is what it is. The party should be a lot of fun!  - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  71.1 #4024 1:19PM
I suggest you email them so that you have a record of their response.  Hopefully, you'll have no issues.  - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  71.1 #4024 1:22PM
Yikes I dunno how I will handle this since it was my MIL card and she won't be present  - excmdlgurl  304.5 #845 1:23PM
I had to give them my credit card number over the phone to receive verification of the purchase. In all my years purchasing e-tickets nothing like this ever happened. After I spoke with someone, I also sent an email so that I had a response for my records.  Since I received nothing via email. I was advised that this glitch affected a lot of folks. I would think that there are others in a similar situation as you are. I'm certain they'll work with you.  - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  71.1 #4024 1:32PM
What email did you write to?  - excmdlgurl  304.5 #845 1:41PM
Go to the Disneyland website and at the bottom of the main page there is a section entitled 'Contact Us' click on email and follow the flow.  - BibbidiBobbidiBoo  71.1 #4024 2:21PM
Same issue here and it was my mom's card used. I guess I'll have to call them as well.  - DisneyPrincess79  141.3 #2806 5:25PM
Hope it's just a glitch. I purchased tickets and had them sent through email. I just double checked my email and the same thing pops up but earlier this morning they were showing. :( - Bubbz89  5.6 #16211 6:05PM

Yay I got my mickeys Halloween party tickets for not just one but two nights that we are there!!!! So excited! Does anyone know how late the park is open for the party and if there is a showing of fantasmic?

I don't think there's going to be fantasmic because one of the candy lines goes through that area. Also the cadaver dans do several performances there and they add fog to the river.  - secretagentangel  2421.9 #53 10:33PM

Does anyone know if the park does extended hours durning October? We just booked our trip and hoping to have some late nights in the park :)

Oct is considerd fall hours. So the parks will close early Mon thru Fri. Usually by 9pm.  They also open later at 10. On the weekends they will open at 9 and usually close at 11.  Remember there are Halloween parties so Disneyland will close early for guest without tickets.  DCA during the week will keep it's early hours but close a little later on Fri. Hope that helps.  - PrincessAuroraMomma  576.5 #335 8:10AM
Last time we went (which was several years ago now), the parks were open late on the weekends, but closed earlier during the week.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  602.7 #322 8:50AM

My sweet 8 year old brother in law just got diagnosed with type one diabetes to cheer him up we are planning a trip for him in October is there a way to get nutrition facts for foods inside Disneyland so he can still eat some of the foods in the park? How do those that have diabetes manage it while in the park besides the obvious of packing snacks ect

I was diagnosed at four. If they haven't already, his parents should talk to his doctor about an insulin pump. But that's a whooole other topic. With him being so young, he may or may not be on a ratio insulin regimen. If he's not, talk to the dr before the trip and see if they can give him a rate for correcting for carbs/blood sugars. This way he doesn't haven't to be the only one not eating a churro. has nutrition info including carb counts for lots of the items found at Disneyland, and a quick google search will usually find the rest. Also keep in mind that there are lots of low/non-carb goodies at dl: pickles, bacon-wrapped asparagus and turkey legs are a few of my favorites. Make sure you take a glucagon kit. All that walking can do a number on blood sugars! Hopefully you won't need to use it, but if you do, it might be a good idea to head to first aid afterwards since they can cause nausea for up to an hour after. Remember that first aid will store anything (like insulin) that needs to be kept cold, though honestly most brands are fine for 24-48 hours without refrigeration. If he's going to be with a large group of kids, I'd say that for me the biggest thing at this age is to make sure he still feels like a normal kid. A little tact and sneakiness goes a long way! Finally, especially if you're going for multiple days, remember that the preparedness needs to extend past the park. Almost every trip, I have a low blood sugar in the middle of the night, so I keep apple juice and fruit snacks right next to my bed. And I always make sure I have my insurance cards and doctors phone numbers, just in case. I'm sorry for the super long post...but I know how lonely this disease can feel. People lump it together with type 2 but it's entirely different! So please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions.  - LittleAprilShowers  563.4 #343 2:08PM

My daughter is 22 now but was 9 at dx.... I just wanted to add is a community with a wealth of lnowledge.... My daughter is on a pump but in the early days of multiple daily injections we just had to learn how her body handled the day. Having plenty of "free food" with you will be good as well as what you plan to use for lows.  - HalfCaff  464.0 #444 2:20PM

Is it true that if you do the dining package at river bell terrace you can watch fantasmic from the chairs and tables outside? I have a back injury and was going to pay for blue bayou but sitting on the ground(even padded) won't work with my new disability so the chairs would be fantastic

My husband and I did the desert and fantasmic last year so idk if it's still the same but when you reserve the preferred viewing for fantasmic you get to sit in chairs and they give you desert and whatever you want to drink like hot chocolate then you watch fantasmic right there - hendrixfamily  1.2 #0 8:33PM
They don't do that any more I wish they did! They actually I heard got rid of premium viewing and now it's a fast pass meal with a cushion to sit on the ground. I loved premium viewing it was so fun  - excmdlgurl  304.5 #845 8:58PM
Yeah I really miss that option as well. I don't mind curb sitting but on the ground is difficult. I loved the dessert and chair plus you could stay there and watch the fireworks!!! - stanvoodoo  24.6 #6257 9:27PM
We did it in May.  They say that you can't  but if you are not done with your meal then they will let you.  We got to finish our meal, dessert while watching Fantasmic  and they told us about the new fireworks show too.   - LuvsDisney4ever  76.6 #3904 9:44PM
it would be great to sit at river belle,  total drag.  with your back issue,  get a wheelchair,  and use it as needed.  like during a show.  and park it for the minutes or hours when you can walk.  i have not had to use a cane in over a year,  but any day the pain can come back.  I have not had to use a cane at the park.  but have gone to fenway park with a cane, crutches and a cast on my foot!  make use of anything that will make your trip easier to deal with. - MsTikiMermadam  552.2 #353 9:54PM

Do you guys think they will have fall hotel room discounts this year? My extended family has received some news concerning my 8 year old brother in law and to turn a sad situation into happy we want to take him to Disneyland in October for Halloween since he's never been. Hotel prices at the Disney resort hotels are giant right now

Yes, they post the discounted rates by quarter, or so I was told by a hotel CM. This is what I did, based on her recommendation: I booked my room at the Grand Californian for November several months early. The rate is insanely high, but she said when the discounted rates are posted, to call the reservation hotline again and have the discount applied to my existing reservation. I believe you have 5 days before your reservation date, to cancel - just in case.  - DeadliestPassholder  286.6 #961 10:07AM

Yep, my Indy riding strategy. And front right of jeep for some reason.  - Cinderella_Schnooks  3235.8 #40 3:03PM
I don't sit with my back against the seat. I sit more forward and place my hands on the rest of the seat in front of me. I don't get that bone jarrying nearly as much when I sit that way. - Lelundrial  591.3 #329 3:25PM
I sit Indian style (I'm Cherokee so I can say it lol) And I have no trouble with the bumps sitting comfy - FoolishMortal138  365.9 #592 3:33PM
And as I was reading all the other answers, I'm noticing the key is to not lean back. I'm leaning forward when sitting Indian style  - FoolishMortal138  365.9 #592 3:34PM
