This weekend went by way too fast. Disney Parks Blog meet up to watch Mickey and the Magical Map on Friday, then drugged up on Saturday to get a couple shots of Cortisone into my shoulder, then back to the parks on Sunday to upgrade our Premium APs to Premier APs.

i love that Disneyland can bring out the little kid in all of us.... even my "cool" 13 year old mini and her friend were excited when seeing Pocahontas come on stage during Mickey and the Magical Map!
We loved taking our kids to DLR when they were young teens. They could be the kids they still really were without worrying about looking silly, no one to try and impress. - DisneyGrandma

Took the afternoon off work to take the wifey (& no kid) to DL. Death grip on my phone as I snapped a quick pic just before falling into my happy place on Splash & a few pics from the castle lighting & the fireworks. Perfect afternoon & evening with an awesome dinner at Cafe Orleans (pomme frites and a Monte Cristo!).

Any other AP holders ever miss the excitement of not having an AP & watching your the days countdown to your next visit to the DLR? I love my AP & the spontaneity of my visits, but I do miss the countdown sometimes.
Maybe it's different for us since we're not local to the parks, and don't get to visit on a weekly basis, but we have APs and definitely countdown to our visits. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Does anyone know if I can upgrade my Premium Pass to a Premier Pass by just paying the difference between the 2 & still be able to maintain my monthly payments? Or will I have to pay the balance + the difference upon upgrading? I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

glad I was able to experience the new Cars Land this weekend! Also got to enjoy old favorites and the revamped Matterhorn. A pic of the 4 Disneyland mountains along with Grizzly Peak and Willy's Butte.

having a great day at the parks today. Got my Fast Pass for RSR this morning, went back at 11 when it was down & waited about 15 minutes before they started letting the Fast Pass line go & was in the car within 10 minutes! Now we're waiting for WoC. Only thing left to do is decide what to eat afterwards...
