It's not a waste, I would love to go twice a year if I could! It's always fun to be there!

Going more than once may really be a waste for some people. If all you want to do is ride space mountain and Indy, you can certainly get that done in one day. If, like many of us, however, you appreciate the history, the nostalgia, the ambience and (dare I say it?) the food, there is a layer beneath the surface of Disneyland that can't be found in one day. I would suggest finding her interests, (is she an undercover princess, Jedi in hiding, foodie at heart?) and playing to those. Tempt her with shopping, tease her with photography, or entice her with a spa treatment. Disney definitely has something for the fanatic in each of us. - LittleAprilShowers 470.9 #255 12:07PM

well said! Last semester my sister and I went about 5 or 6 times and on two of those trips, it was SO crowded that we only rode 3 rides. And we were there from open until 9. For us, just BEING at DL was enough to make the day fantastic. Walking around, shopping and eating the delicious food made the trip. Even if your wife isn't a huge Disney fan herself (*gasp!*) she can still have a great time making memories with you and your daughter. It's about spending quality time with people you love, listening to great music, seeing a show, taking a boat or canoe ride and just enjoying each others company. So sad! I sang there with my choir on choir tour a couple of years ago. Good times. :)

Very, very sad!!! My greatest memories are going swing dancing there every Sat night and during the summer every Fri and Sat night in the mid 90's for almost 10 years!! I was taught my first steps just over the little bridge in between the castle and CPG!! It was such an awesome scene back then and everyone would get dressed up and dance until they kicked us out!! We had some amazing jam sessions back then!! I also remember making a "girls dance" with some of my friends and I can still do it today!!! I also remember when they served Carnation ice cream back there and in between sets we'd load up on ice cream!! There were some nights when we would put baby powder on the dance floor to make it more slippery but the CMs would always get mad!!! LOL!! I can't forget when Manyard would come and dance all crazy with us!! Dancing with Mickey Mouse there was also something I will never forget!! I made soo many wonderful friendships there and I am still great friends with many of them today!! I'm really going to miss this place!! It makes me very sad. - caramiapoohAKAface 1436.3 #54 4:47PM

Adding more traffic to that area doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Hopefully it doesn't take too long.

I don't like this much either... I know that that area is not used all the time so something more permanent would be good since space is valuable, but this is definitely going to bring more foot traffic to this corner around frontierland and say good buy to those empty restrooms in that pathway...
