I've always loved the GC diorama portion, and to add to your post: The main theme of Ferde Grofé's "On The Trail," the third movement from his Grand Canyon Suite, is piped in through the train's sound system as it enters the diorama. Very interesting. I never knew that that is what it was. Winemaking is definitely a big part of California but it almost seems as though it were out of place- like something they did to sort of fill in the space. I never did go in there but I do appreciate what it is now. It is fun to feel like an insider and see what is next for these wonderful Parks. They do still make wine there I believe...someone please correct me if I'm wrong. I know DCA used to be in a partnership with Mondavi and they only sold and served THIER wine.
