I am a military wife, mother to 2 wonderful boys, and a Doula. I spent grades k-2 just blocks from Disneyland. A love was born then and there! My boys are growing up with the same love, even with living in Washington.
I do plan on going to City Hall when we get there. I just want to make sure she gets them. I will probably wait until our last day, incase we run into her in person (would be our ideal)! I'm not sure on the etiquette of posting her picture on line. Any opinions on that? It's a picture she asked to take with my boys. Thank you!
I know this is probably a "stupid" question, but what is the difference between doors? I've only been able to ride this 4 times in 8 years (no one else in my family likes it). I've never noticed a difference...
Between my husband and I we carry: Fruit snacks, baggies of gold fish crackers, snack bars, spark and rehydrate packets, plastic shaker bottles, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, bananas and apples, almonds, vitamins, sun screen, camera, batteries, phone, wallet, water shoes, swim trunks and swim shirts (for my kids at the bugs land splash area), backpack leash for the times we need it, noise ca More...
I lived that close in kindergarten and first grade. I would "stay up" to watch them out my bedroom window (swear they used to be at 10pm). Just one of the many things that spurred my life long love of Disney! This brings back so many memories!
I wear my walking shoes that I use at the gym. I walk 5 miles at a 15 incline daily, so the walking is easy. Standing is the hard part. I soak in a hot bath and take night time recovery when the day is done and I don't have any leg or feet problems, even after 9 days in the parks from open-close.
Congrats! I told my hubby by having a friend draw a binki and baby bottle on my belly and writing "ready or not, here I come!" Took him a minute to realize I meant a baby, but it was very fun and memorable! I did have a beer waiting for him too ;)
Do not promise he can ride it, even if he passes the first hieght indicator, he may not pass the one at the end of the line. If he makes the 40" mark before you get there, go on the 40" ones in the morning as we all shrink throughout the day.
