I wear my walking shoes that I use at the gym. I walk 5 miles at a 15 incline daily, so the walking is easy. Standing is the hard part. I soak in a hot bath and take night time recovery when the day is done and I don't have any leg or feet problems, even after 9 days in the parks from open-close.

This reminds me of the time I was a little boy and I won a contest to visit the local Chocolate Factory and I really wanted my Grandpa Joe to come but he was old and lazy and was always in bed with my other Grandparents which still trips me out to this day. Well once I one the contest Lazy Grandpa Joe finally got out of bed and started dancing and signing and was fine within no time. At first I was not sure if it was the chocolate factory he wanted to see or if i was to get out of bed with the other grandparents or just so he had to hear my mom singing that stupid cheer up charlie song that I was always fast forwarded through as a kid ...Or you can just get up and stretch and wear good shoes and stay away from any Sunday costco visits - Dave 8823.5 #2 10:57AM

I wear flip flops all day every day and I'm fine :) if you're not used to being active then just start walking around your neighborhood on a daily basis. Congrats! I told my hubby by having a friend draw a binki and baby bottle on my belly and writing "ready or not, here I come!" Took him a minute to realize I meant a baby, but it was very fun and memorable! I did have a beer waiting for him too ;)

Congrats! I loved being pregnant (well after the first trimester) oh it was so nice pigging out. I was really lucky I ate like no other but only gained 14 pounds with my oldest daughter and then 8 pounds with my second daughter. Now when I eat like a pig I gain unwanted weight! Boo!!!
