We always go in February. Earlier in the month is great - low crowds. We are usually there during the President's week and its a little more crowded, but not anything like summer crowds. There's good and bad places anywhere. I live in Corona. Nice area, very quiet. Was thinking of moving back closer to LA just to be closer to family, since I'm originally from the south bay area.
