It's the same reason the Pixar acquisition didn't happen until Iger became CEO. We really loved the turtle crush ride. Also we splurged and ate at l'auberge de cendrillon. Best French food, but the characters all gave us weird looks since we had no kids :) park has short hours.

I went in 2000. When I was there the park is set up the same as DL but the rides were very different. Be prepared for odor unfortunately. I can still remember walking into stores on Main St, seeing nobody else in the store, and being able to still smell BO. Just be prepared for that. - LilSterner
