Yesterday while waiting in line for the ferris wheel, a lady standing in front of me was arguing with her husband on her cell while her 6 year old son stood by her. She hung up and turned to her son and said "you're gonna be real surprised when mommy leaves your daddy, we're going straight home after this" I just wanted to cry for that poor kid. What a horrible experience
How can he be surprised?? She just spoiled the whole thing. - Nickelnorm

Hey guys... This question is for all the MW'ers that are in the nursing field. I'm in Orange County and checking out some colleges, I need some advice. Are there any schools you recommend? Any advice or words of wisdom?
Are you aiming for RN or LVN? - LaceySue

I went back to a community college to redo my GEs for RN (i made thr mistake and went to Heald College for my MA and found out after the $20,000 I spent that NONE of my classes were transferrable). I second guessed myself and went spoke with an LVN school who wanted $26,000 for their 18 month program. Got talked out of it by my parents and bf b/c they thought I'd be stupid to pay for that same amt if I did the LVN to RN program (if I
passed of course). I stopped going after my bf lost his job and am waiting until I'm financially ready to go back on track. - StephiePooh

The only thing that I can say after going to Heald is that I got an Associates Degree and an awesome job that I've been at for 4 yrs. But again, I pull more weight than some of the LVN/RNs and get paid crap-o-la - StephiePooh

The whole fast pass idea is great. You must be disciplined to really take advantage but if you work it right you feel awsome. They figured out how to tap into your emotions by making you feel special by cutting in line. Who doesn't like to go right to the front. Sweetness... - Gratefullnull

G'mornin guys! About to head out to the parks. Do you guys think it's gonna be super crowded?
Morning, Michi! It should be warm and crowded. I believe spring break is still in session for some schools. Have a MAGICAL in the park! - PrincessCarmen

Spring break, so more then likely. Mornings last week were nice for a couple of hours though. - Coaster

Yeah I'd assume it'd be crowded for the next couple weeks cuz of spring break... My college has SB this week and all the elementary schools here around the beach cities in OC have SB next week but it might lighten up later in the wk cuz it's supposed to rain - LittleMermaid

Hey guys... New here just got my annual pass...is the park crowded on Tuesdays? What's the best day to go?
Welcome to the Lounge! The parks are a little crowded right now because of spring break but generally Tuesday-Thursday are the slowest days. - MozGirl
