Can you still buy magic paintbrushes in the park?

Yes.  I just saw them in New Orleans Square for $27.78 - MabelMouse  404.7 #599 5:40PM

So I'm trying to research strategy for PTN. Of I watch the fireworks from Main Street, will I be able to find a spot on the curb right after for the second show? I'm going to DL July 21-25? Thanks!

The problem will be finding a spot for the fireworks without seeing PTN. Normally people fill the street waiting for PTN, then stay for the fireworks. After that they clear out and you should get a great spot. But you won't be able to show up just before the fireworks and find a spot that easily. IF you want to try to do that and have PTN be a surprise, I would hang out in the stores on Main Street during the parade. once the parade goes by you can pop out of the store as people fill the streets. - DLKenCA  3016.0 #51 11:08AM
Hmmm, good to know. Is Main Street your favourite spot for fireworks?  - lifeguardette  121.5 #3296 3:00PM
My all time favorite spot for paint the night is back by small world last show of the night no one is back there and you get to see everything! Have fun - excmdlgurl  482.7 #479 11:10AM
That's our favorite place also. Not as crowded!! Everything is projected on Small World and you can see the Matterhorn.  - joyzmom  260.0 #1335 11:16AM
I hear that seeing the Matterhorn is neat for the firework show, but I also hear Main Street is a great place too. I'm so torn. My priority is the fireworks, but for people in with, it's PTN. - lifeguardette  121.5 #3296 3:01PM
I sat on the hub a few times for PTN, then ran into the street to see a  nice view of fireworks and Matterhorn but you can't see castle or Main Street projections. To see all that you have to wait for fireworks. Even on Tuesdays when I hold a spot, we have a great view for PTN but fireworks you have to go out in street. My only other suggestion is stay near plaza inn/tomorrowland and go quickly to middle  of street to see fireworks then grab a seat around the middle of the hub facing Main Street.  - secretagentangel  8513.1 #11 3:59PM

Just a quick question, how many hours after opening are RSR FP's lasting for? Secondly, is there a mad rush for the FP line still? Thanks!

On Saturdays, I have gotten a FastPass at noon, at times. - Winnie111286  23720.5 #2 7:01AM
^this, we do a lot of Saturday's and have noticed them lasting till noon or longer. - Lelundrial  820.2 #249 8:23PM
It's not crazy like it used to be.  It also depends on how late the park is open,  how long fp distribution will last.  And right now everyone is running to get Frozen passes and Soarin passes first.  - Taunton  1816.8 #103 6:22AM
I went on the 4th and still able to get it at 3 pm - LuvsDisney4ever  239.8 #1558 9:54AM
How was the 4th this year?  The three years prior were dead on the Sunday immediately following the 4th. The next few years the 4th is on the backside of the weekend.  - MennisDiller  1074.3 #189 4:58PM
Sorry just saw your question.  The 4th this year was very slow for most of the day until around 6 pm when people started coming for the fireworks.  Other than the longest we waited was 20 minutes for Cars.  Even the Cove Bar was out 10 mins wait - LuvsDisney4ever  239.8 #1558 5:40PM

I know you could awhile back... Not sure if they still have it now. Maybe try somewhere in New Orleans Square? I think that's where I got mine, but it was like 5 years ago. Good luck 😊 - Madgesty  777.6 #269 1:15AM

I have a ressie for BB at 8pm on Sunday for the Fantasmic package. So, with the FP that we will be getting for the 2nd show, does anyone know where we line up and how early do we need to be in the area? Do we need to be there before the return time on the FP says??

You'll be lining up by Harbor Galley across from Haunted Mansion. I believe they open the line up around 30 mins before show start (I haven't been out there for a while and some things changed.) Second show is usually less crowded in that section so you should have a great spot regardless, besides the fact Blue Bayou is best sitting location. - CM_Shadowgamer  2647.9 #57 2:23AM
Thank you! - lifeguardette  121.5 #3296 5:07AM
Depending which section you're in, you're going to report by the Mark Twain Columbia loading dock. Then they will escort you to your section from there. You can't line up until an hour before the show, so 9:45.  - BaseballMickey  8086.8 #13 2:21AM
Did they change that recently? We used to have dining go to Harbor Galley. Or did you read the question as normal FP? - CM_Shadowgamer  2647.9 #57 2:24AM

Silly question, tomorrow I will be flying out to DLR at 6am yippee. Now when I post wait times do I just post the time that the sign says or do I time how long it actually takes me to get through the line??

Which ever. Actual time in line would obviously be more accurate. Just don't post times from the wait time board because those are notoriously inaccurate - missmimi90  2050.7 #88 3:24PM
Actual wait times that you experience are best. If posting times from the sign outside an attraction, remember it is that wait time from the point of that sign. If the line is shorter, or longer, than where that sign is located, adjust the wait time accordingly.Β  - Melody_CM  23642.7 #3 3:33PM
I do both.  Although I Walked right on to POTC last Tuesday, but the outside sign said 20 minute wait. - DisneyDavidEMT  2824.6 #53 3:38PM

It's rumored that a certain specter is being added to the mansion. I've been told that it shouldn't take long to install and could possibly be done over night. I wouldn't worry about it taking any longer than that day or two. - Donaldfan_532  248.8 #1445 6:48AM

I like PP. The money we saved staying there, vs DL Hotel allowed us to upgrade to the concierge level.  We ended up with a room at pool level, with a little patio that allowed us to walk right out to the pool, plus the benefit of the "free" food. Really enjoyed it.  - Sugarbuzz  293.0 #1037 10:43AM

Hi all, I think I'm being told the wrong info. I am wanting to upgrade from a 5 day park hopper to an Ap. I am staying at paradise pier hotel. I am being told that I will not be able to enter MM at DL if I upgrade. I thought that as a paradise purer resort guest with a room key both EMH and MM were perks? Am I wrong?

I assume your right because you're staying at a resort hotel - Goofytom  3132.0 #49 4:14PM

Quick question: at the end of the month I will be visiting with a 5 day park hopper. After I use a few days, can I put the money spent on the hopper towards a deluxe AP?

Also, use up your magic morning or whatever it is called before you convert to an AP.  If you convert to an AP before you use that early morning, you lose out! - IDVandalSkipperCM  2638.7 #58 6:58AM
This!! We learned this the hard way! - AZDisneyfam  191.4 #2193 10:22AM
You can apply whatever you paid for the park hopper towards a pass. **Save your parking receipts. If you buy parking with an AP, they will refund your parking. As long as it's not a blackout day, you might be better upgrading first. You get merchandise and food discounts with the AP that you wouldn't get.  If you are getting parking on one, consider a Premium. The Premium comes with parking and gets bigger discount on food and merchandise. We used to do one Premium and the rest Deluxe. Also if you have a child, often people get the child with parking so either parent can take the child and get free parking. - DLKenCA  3016.0 #51 9:02AM
You can apply the $ of the hopper ticket anytime as long as it is still valid, example if your first day is Monday you can immediately apply it up through Friday but if you go afterwards it won't work - UTDISNEYFAMILY  2055.3 #87 4:23AM
And remember, you get merchandise and food discounts with an ap. So, if you are like some of us, ahem, and tend to spend a lot, it would be worth your while to upgrade right away. Have fun, no matter which way you do it! - MeridaFan  4244.2 #39 5:14AM
