The huz & I haven't been to Disneyland for almost 3 years - since before we had our daughter. We've been thinking lately that we'd like to make the trip to introduce her to everything we love about Disney - but we're not sure if she's just too young. Looking for input from other parents who've brought young children & how it's worked out - we're not local so it's an expensive trip for us. Any t  More...
How old is your daughter? Most if not all people here will tell you to make the trip lol - missmimi90  1397.6 #91 5:52PM

She's just over 2 - I kinda thought the same thing, likely most people on here would say go for it - just wondering what comments (good or bad) people might have for me! - littlebitofpixiedust  81.4 #3652 5:56PM
Well she is free until age 3 so if this is something that will occur prior to her birthday, there's that to consider. I hope someone with children that age can assist you further. - missmimi90  1397.6 #91 6:16PM
We took both our girls before they were two. Just be prepared to do things at a slower pace than if it were just you two. Get there early, when park opens and hit Fantasyland. Familiarize yourself with the Baby Center on Main Street. It's a great place to change a diaper with a little more privacy than a restroom gives. Enjoy rides like its a Small World, Pirates and even the Haunted Mansion. She should be too young to be scared of the Haunted Mansion, and should enjoy the boat rides. Bring snacks, change of clothes, and head back to your room early or find a quiet place if your baby can nap in her stroller. Have fun!! Β And make sure to get her a First visit button at City Hall! - MeridaFan  3401.6 #27 6:05PM
If anything, think how special it will be to have pics of her at that age at DL :)  She will love looking at then when she's older.   We have a great one of my husband at about 3 years and his grandpa (who sadly passed when my husband was a teen), and Brer Bear, who ruffled his grandpa's hair in the pic, lol.   - Spoonful_O_Sugar  534.4 #329 10:30PM
Is there an option to bring the in-laws or at least one? Β Personally, I would love the flexibility to enjoy a little one to one Disney time with my wife, especially if going to be a similar 3 year wait until the next...... Which ever way you decide, goodluck πŸ‘‹πŸ‘‹ - RapunzelledColey  57.6 #4129 11:25PM

I'm having a Disney movie marathon today to polish up on my Disney before my trip - only 22 days to go! Can't wait to spend my bday in the park! So far, Alice in Wonderland & Finding Nemo down - about to start The Little Mermaid!
For my next movie - let's see i anybody can guess "'twas a long time ago, linger now than it seems..." that's all I'm giving because I think it's an easy one! - littlebitofpixiedust  81.4 #3652 3:25PM

46 days till our 3rd trip to DL - will be spending my birthday in the park - any suggestions for new things for a couple of 3rd timers to take in?
Take your time. Stroll. Dont rush. Notice details. Eat a churro. Ride the LillyBelle. Ask for a map when you get off the Jungle Cruise. Eat a Dole Whip. Walk thru the castle and up the stairs. Look for Malificent up high in the window when standing at PeterPan. Go to FrontierLand and as you almost get to FantasyLand, on the left are some wonderful animals-go say hi and pet them. Eat a corndog. Take the path ways less traveled. Sit and people watch. Have fun! - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  4075.6 #23 8:24PM

Just wondering everyone's preference - Disneyland vs. Disneyworld? We've been to DL twice and are considering another trip but are trying to decide which park to take in - thoughts?
