Avoid Toy Story parking at all costs!! There's a (seemingly very popular convention) going on and it is SO backed up. It took us 20 minutes just to get in from Katella. Crazy!

I get a Disney date night with my husband tomorrow night (okay tonight)! We've been planning this for weeks and he even passed up Lakers tickets for me. Okay well he knew he'd be sleeping on the couch for a week if he flaked on me, but still. ;)

Question for anyone that has done any of the Disney races: is registration the only chance you get to buy the commemorative pin? Or is it available later whether online or at the expo? Thanks!
For the DLR 1/2 you had to pre purchase the pin when you registered. - Shunasee

For the Tink you had to Pre-order the pin. But you can order after you register. I did that for the Tink Half and was fine. Wasn't sure that I wanted the pin and decided a few months after registering that I would get the pin too. - LilSterner

The Disneyland 1/2 Marathon in September is 73% full now (or 27% empty, depending on how you look at it). If you're a procrastinator like me, hurry up and register before its all full! 👍

I really think I'm going to register once I get my tax return. I looked into it, and they only require an average of a 16 minute mile, which I could do walking I'm pretty sure. Jen, the 5K I did a few years ago was what sparked my love for running! Before training for that, I couldn't run 10 feet without getting massive side aches and out of breath. It is the perfect distance to really prepare your body and it won't take over your life training for. :) I'm excited for you! - Melliott 299.4 #613 10:44AM

”walking” a half marathon at a 16min/mile pace not doable... The average walking pace is well over 20min/mile. If you properly train (to walk or run), it can be done... like Ive said on here last year, its great to encourage people to set goals and reach them but we dont want to be giving running advice that could potentially hurt someone. - michelledork

I had so much fun with my little girl yesterday. It was her first time dressing up and she felt so special getting so much attention and I loved seeing her face light up every time someone said "Hi Alice!" I wish I could freeze time forever so she would never grow up, never date, and never be too old to hold my hand. 💜
