I just went last weekend. Yes, new rules are in effect. You do not need to check in at booth 8 to get a pass pick up a park pass if it is not included(member or company did not provide). If you have an entrance ticket/pass, just go to Club 33 a few minutes before your reservation time.

DL has added a new half marathon the last Sunday in January and it is sold out. It will be much more crowded than usual, so basically not as crowded as a Holiday, but more crowded than normal. Rides will not be a walk on.
